While visiting family here in Cape Coral, I came across a local post from someone looking for a drop-in visit/walk.

My heart is extra heavy today.

A special client of mine was diagnosed with cancer about a month ago. In less than 24 hours she rapidly declined. I was just there on Thursday and she ran & had her signature toy in her mouth, like she always does.

Her owner texted me this morning that she wasn’t doing well. I asked if could come and bring a pup cup (and obviously say my final see you laters).

I cried this morning. I’m not sure exactly why this is hitting me harder and deeper than other client dogs that have passed away. They all are special to me. My heart is always sad with death. Especially with fur babies.

Piper has been a part of my life for 2-3 days a week for the last 14 months. Shes in doggy heaven now, because all dogs go to heaven, right?🌈🐾🫶

This will also be a tough transition for her litter mate, her brother, Dasher. They’ve been inseparable since birth.

Hug your fur babies & your loved ones.

Gosh, this surely is the toughest part of my job. Saying goodbyes.

Piper enjoyed her 2 pup cups & her bacon. Go run on doggy heaven with your fav toy in your mouth.

A few days down, 1 week left out here in Kenansville.

This pack started with just 5….but is currently at 8! Yep, you read that right 😂 These precious pups have their tails wrapped around their owners finger 🥰

Sometimes this business isn’t just about the pets we care for—it’s about the people who have your back, too. 🐾

Yesterday, I happened to run into my friend Rachel from Sit, Stay, Love with Rachel LLC while we were BOTH out walking our furry clients. Of course, we had to stop for a quick chat and a selfie! 😂🐶

Rachel is one of those people I’m incredibly grateful to have in my corner. She has cared for my own pups when I need someone I trust, and we’ve built a wonderful little partnership over the years where we refer clients to each other when schedules don’t line up.

If I’m booked, I know I can send someone her way with confidence. And when she’s booked, she knows she can send someone my way. We even occasionally call on each other when one of us needs an extra hand.

There’s something really special about having another pet professional you can trust completely—someone who understands the responsibility we carry when someone puts their beloved pets in our care. ❤️

So today, I’m giving a little shoutout to Rachel and Sit Stay Love. Thank you for being such a wonderful friend, colleague, and part of my pet-care family! 🐾💕

3 summers of watching Jimmy & Jackson. I love these boys so much & they love everyone just as much. Jimmy, the tan one has the most gentle soul ever & Jackson is as loyal as they come. I love you boys🩵🩵

Pit bulls have one of the most misunderstood reputations, but Walle is living proof that a breed doesn’t define a dog’s heart. ❤️

He’s one of the biggest sweethearts I’ve ever had the pleasure of caring for… and honestly? He’s a total scaredy-cat. 😂 Loud noises, anything unexpected, kids,
you’d never guess this gentle giant is the one people are supposed to fear.

The only thing I’d change about him? He refuses to give kisses! That’s okay, though. I’ll settle for all the snuggles.

Walle has definitely earned a spot as one of my favorite clients, and every visit with him reminds me why I love what I do.

One of my amazing clients is fostering 13 adorable puppies (yes… THIRTEEN! 🤯) plus their sweet mama through a local rescue, and they’re all looking for their forever families. 🏡❤️

Mama is looking for a forever home, too.

She has given everything to raise her babies, and now it’s her turn to be loved, spoiled, and cherished. She deserves a family who will love her just as much as her puppies.
