Our facility provides a home

away from home for your furry companion. In addition to training and boarding, we also offer grooming services, group classes, private lessons, and more. Whether you're looking for comprehensive training or simply need a place for your dog to stay, we have packages that fit every budget. Sharon is a highly experienced dog handler with 17 years of hands-on experience working with all breeds and behaviors. She understands that each dog has its own unique personality and behaviors, which is why she evaluates each dog individually and provides them with personalized attention. Sharon encourages her clients to ask questions, as there is always knowledge to be gained. She firmly believes that the only dumb question is the one that was not asked. Sharon is a highly qualified professional with certifications in Advanced Canine Training, Canine Animal Behavior, and Service and Therapy. Our services cater to dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages, including those with major behavioral issues. We believe that all dogs require routine, expectations, and manners from their owners, regardless of their age. Sharon specializes in working with rescues, aggression, and all types of behavioral issues. Feel free to contact Sharon with your concerns, Sharon will help you. If you’ve ever looked for a place to trust with your dog, you know how stressful it can be. You aren't just looking for a standard kennel or a quick bath—you’re looking for people who truly understand your dog's unique personality, quirks, and needs.

When we opened our doors in 2023, we wanted to build something entirely different. We aren't just a place for drop-offs; we are a dedicated, tight-knit family built on a deep love for dogs and a commitment to doing right by them.

We don’t just focus on standard sit-and-stay obedience. We look at the whole dog—their emotions, their stress levels, and what they are trying to tell us. Whether you have a goofy, high-energy puppy or a reactive pup who needs a wider "safety bubble" to feel secure, we meet them exactly where they are. We coach them through fear and excitement with patience, never force.

🤝 Born from a passion for rescue
Our heart belongs to the dogs who need the most help. We work closely with Saginaw County Animal Care & Control to rehabilitate fearful, neglected, or misunderstood dogs to help get them ready for their forever homes. That same patience, behavioral expertise, and deep empathy goes into every single dog that walks through our doors—including yours.

We treat our facility like a home, not a kennel. First impressions mean everything, which is why we have strict daily deep-cleaning routines. We also treat your dog's health with absolute precision—every single meal and medication is tracked with signature-verified logs so nothing is ever left to chance.

When your dog is with us, they have an entire team looking out for them. Our staff works in total sync, using walkie-talkies to stay in constant communication. Whether someone is in the play yard, at the front desk, or pampering a pup in our newly expanded groom room, we are always connected to ensure your dog is safe, happy, and loved.

At the end of the day, we do this because dogs are our life's work. We don't just watch them; we advocate for them, protect them, and treat them like our very own.

Today, we are celebrating the guys who absolutely do it all for their pups.

Being a great dog dad takes a lot of heart. It means having the patience to figure out what a goofy puppy is trying to tell you, or being the calm, steady rock for a rescue pup who just needs to feel safe. It’s about building that unspoken bond where a single look says it all.

To all the dads in our Paws & Beyond family—thank you for the love, the patience, and the endless dedication you give to your four-legged best friends every single day.

Whether you want to bring comfort to local hospitals, lift spirits at nursing homes, or help kids learn to read at the library, it all starts here! Join us for our upcoming Therapy Dog Foundations Class.

We’ve designed this workshop to give you the perfect blend of knowledge and practical skills:

First Half: An engaging presentation covering the essentials of therapy work, handler etiquette, and reading canine body language.

Second Half: A fully hands-on training session where you and your pup will practice real-world therapy scenarios and socialization exercises.

🎖️ Bonus Opportunity: At the end of the class, you will have the optional opportunity to take the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test—a fantastic milestone and often a prerequisite for official therapy dog certification!
