Pack enough of your dog’s regular food for the entire stay, plus a little extra in case of delays. Include all medications and supplements with clear dosage and timing instructions, along with vaccination records and any required health information. Don’t forget their leash, collar with identification, emergency contact information, veterinarian details, and written instructions for any special routines, dietary needs, or care requirements. 🐶🧳

🐾 GO-HOME SPOTLIGHT: JACK 🐾

Meet Jack, an 8-month-old Akita who spent the past week with us for a Board & Train focused on building the foundation for a lifetime of successful obedience. 🐕

During his stay, Jack worked on:

•Foundational obedience skills
•Leash manners & handler engagement
•Appropriate greetings with new people
•People & environmental exposure
•Handler orientation & focus
•Confidence, communication & engagement

Our goal with Jack wasn’t to rush through a long list of commands—it was to establish the communication, engagement, and structure that make future training successful.

Jack has made great progress learning to look to his handler for direction, navigate new environments, and understand what’s expected of him. For an 8-month-old Akita, developing that handler orientation and willingness to work together is an incredibly valuable foundation.

One week can make a difference—but the real magic happens when that foundation continues at home. 🏡
