Puppy party!! Bentley the golden puppy joined us for a few days of puppy training. He and Maui are having a blast, very well matched with personalities and play styles. Both goldens have settled into their walks really well and are starting to slow down and take direction nicely. Captain is doing great with his training! He’s taking direction well and is so eager to work. All around a really fun group of puppies!!
Special note to the older dogs this week. My pups, plus Theo and Josie have been helping the youngsters learn about appropriate interactions and play. Socially sound dogs offer amazing learning experiences for young puppies. I’m so lucky to have such a wonderful group of mentor dogs!!

Wednesday thins. Captain is working hard and really starting to slow down. He’s all about action and is starting to learn that it pays off to check in. We’ve had Josie and Grace back for socializing. Happy to report that Grace and family are doing a great job of maintaining her training! 👏🏽👏🏽 And we’ve got Lulu the boxer back for boarding this week! It’s been a while since we’ve seen Lulu but she settled back in like no time had passed! 🩵

A Sunday well spent brings a week of content…
Grace’s go-home lesson went smoothly this morning and even though she’s back with her people we’ll see more of her this week to resume her socializing. I’m very happy with her progress and look forward to seeing this sweet pup continue to grow and learn! Captain is back for his ecollar B&T and is proving very eager to work. We’re already having so much fun!

Everyone give a big welcome to Nala the Dobbie! She’s with me through the weekend for structured boarding and is having fun while she settles in! She’s got a solid foundation of training so we’ll be working on maintaining that while her family travels. Theo is also back for a longer boarding stay while his family is away, and it’s always great to have him back! We also had Riley with us yesterday and she turned into the puppy whisperer and kept Grace busy during play breaks.
