I had the privilege of playing doggie doula last night as this sweet 5-year old Chocolate Lab began delivering her first litter - 16 puppies! Belle was as good-natured as can be throughout, but it was a long process, and I only stayed to help through the first half.

Oooooh! I love getting puppy photos! This is Ruby! She was the firstborn of Kate’s last litter. In another photo she was waving hello with her right paw. Her family says “She is such a good girl!” Yay!
