Princess is doing fantastic in her foster home. She is a cutie and such a sweet girl! She fit right in with her foster family and enjoys belly rubs and walks. She had her vet exam yesterday and was such a good girl. Princess is a smaller girl and will be ready for a new home soon after she is spayed. Just rescued from Sacramento County Shelter. Meet Shiloh (was Korra), who is being fostered by Robyn. Thank you Robyn! Shiloh is
dog friendly and very sweet. She was giving her foster Mom kisses, tail wags, and rolling over for belly rubs within an hour of going to her foster home! Welcome to Chows Plus Shiloh! 😍💜🩷

Sunny has had his FHO surgery and is doing remarkably well! He stayed overnight at the vet hospital and is now back at his foster home. Your generosity for his surgery is greatly appreciated. Thank you to everyone who donated and shared his Go Fund Me post.❤️💙❤️💙

Look who just got her freedom ride out of the shelter. Yay for Princess! She is out and safe because a foster stepped up to help.
Thank you Julie! Princess got a pup cup on her way to her foster home and really enjoyed it. We are thrilled for this cutie who soon will be ready for her forever new home. 🩷💜

Jet is a 4 month old black chow pup who got his freedom ride out of the shelter today. Jet and his two litter mates may have been dumped. One was hit and killed by a car. The other was not able to be caught. Jet was very afraid in the scary shelter. Thanks to Amy for fostering him and meeting transport Jovana who helped out so much. Thank you both. We are still trying to find a foster for this sweet girl who is still in the shelter in danger. Can someone please help her by fostering?
Shelters are very full and must euthanize for space. We are looking for a foster within a few hours of Sacramento. Fostering is free and helps by saving a life. The shelter has tested her with another dog and she was fine. Email [email protected] or message Chows Plus.

Chows Plus would like to get this female out of the shelter and to safety. To be able to help we need a foster. We are in Sacramento but foster can be within a few hours distance. We recently rescued Sunny, a young cream chow. Sunny was diagnosed with hip dysplasia on both sides. At just 14 months old, this sweet boy is already facing significant pain. He urgently needs femoral head ostectomy (FHO) surgery on one hip, followed by surgery on the other once he has healed. Right now, we are seeking funds for one side so he can get healed before doing the other side. All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible as Chows Plus is a 501c3 organization.
