Why Your Horse May Not Be Stubborn | Horse Law & Pecking Order

Your horse already understands leadership—it’s part of herd dynamics.

Picking up your horse’s feet isn’t just about getting the hoof off the ground—it’s about knowing when to release the pressure. 🐴

Your horse learns from the release, not just the pressure.

Ask → wait for the smallest correct response → release immediately.

That release tells your horse, “Yes! That’s exactly what I was asking for.”

Timing matters. The better our timing becomes, the clearer and more confident our horses can become.
