This sweet trio came in for their adjustments with Dr. Troy Stevens at Thrive Animal Rehab—and our staff was in puppy heaven!! I mean, look at those puppy dog eyes! 🐶🐶🐶

Dr. Stevens is a licensed human chiropractor with advanced certification in both small animal and equine adjustments. He joins us one Tuesday each month to provide expert care for your pets. With many years of experience and a deep understanding of both animal (and human) chiropractic care, he brings an incredible level of expertise to our team. Beyond his knowledge, pets are quick to warm up to his calm, gentle demeanor—which makes each visit a positive experience for them (and for you!)

Hi everyone! I’m Gwendelyn, and I’m so excited to be part of the Thrive team!

My background is in emergency and critical care veterinary medicine, but I’ve always been drawn to rehabilitation and helping patients regain their mobility, confidence, and quality of life. I’m passionate about supporting both pets and their families throughout the recovery process, and I love seeing the progress that can happen one step at a time.

When I’m not at Thrive, you’ll usually find me exploring somewhere new with my dog, Luna, or curled up with a good book.

NEW service alert at Thrive Animal Rehab… Kitten Conditioning Classes! 🐱 😉

These future Olympians are hard at work building strength, stamina, balance, and maximum zoomie capacity before they head to their FUR-ever homes. 🐱💨

Okay - so they don’t need rehab - but they will need homes! One of our team members is fostering these adorable kittens 🧡 They will be available for adoption soon, so reach out to learn more.

Until then, enjoy watching our smallest rehab patients absolutely dominate the gym! 🤣

Meet Birdie! This adorable rescue traveled all the way from Korea and now enjoys her best Sacramento life with a family who adores her. Today she stopped by for a therapeutic laser session—and, of course, rocked her doggles like a pro! 😎

✨ There’s just sometbi gthing special about kitties ✨

If they can make it through the door without too much stress (my cat people get it! 🤪) they often become some of my very BEST acupuncture patients.

Minerva has been coming to see us for about three months now, and she’s truly settled into her routine. In the beginning, she was understandably guarded — even gentle palpation to locate bony anatomical landmarks and guide needle placement felt like too much.

Today? Not a single flinch. As her laser session started, those big green eyes grew heavy, her body softened, and she melted right into relaxation. Moments like this never get old.

✨ Hours Update – Starting February 2026 ✨

We’re making a small change to better serve you!
Beginning February 2026, our schedule will shift to allow extended evening appointments, making it easier to come in after work 🙌

New Hours:
🐾 Monday – Thursday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
🐾 Closed for lunch: 1:00 – 2:00 PM
🐾 Friday – Sunday: Closed

By closing Fridays, we’re able to offer additional evening availability each night while continuing to provide the quality care and service you expect.
