As most of you know and some of you who do not, we are expecting a baby in November.

First I want to thank all those who have been patient with me and understanding when I have needed to reschedule due to not feeling well. I promise I am doing my best to get you back on the schedule.

I am decreasing my availability some as I am trying to not work both weekend days all day long as I do also work a full time job M-F. To help with this, I’m not going to be taking on new clients unless they are part of a barn I am routinely at. Because of all of this I am booking out with trying to space my schedule out.

I will be taking maternity leave come November which means some of winter I will be unavailable but once I am ready to come back out you will all be notified. Again, my schedule will be a bit limited.

I will plan to work as long as I can. Again, know that I appreciate every one of you, your patience and understanding ❤️

Moose says show day sessions are his favorite. He loves having a session right before going into the jumper ring. He goes in ready to go, feeling his best and moving freely 🙌🏻

Proof that our techniques work 🙌🏻

My own horse had a spinal tap on Thursday and Friday into Saturday I felt like he was uncomfortable, almost acting like he had a headache. After talking with Abby who owns Coastal PEMF Therapy of Maine we came up with some taping techniques and I taped up his poll and around his face for some “headache relief”. Saturday he slept all day standing after spending most of Friday being agitated and tossing his head. Sunday he was caught laying down sleeping (he NEVER does this) and Abby added in her poll cap for good measures for the big guy ❤️

The tape is a few days old in these photos so he’s had some of the pieces trimmed down but when I applied it he fell asleep on the crossties 😴

Pick a colour, any colour 🔴🟠🟡🟢🔵🟣

If you could only choose ONE muscle from this picture to treat on your horse today, which one are you going for? It’s a tricky one when you actually think about it 👀. For me, I’d go straight for the brachiocephalicus, the limey green one running down the neck (from the poll to shoulder basically)!

It’s one I find holds a massive amount of tension in so many horses, especially with the way they work, carry themselves, and even just how they’re handled day to day (riding, haynets etc)! Amongst other things this particular muscle helps the forelimb pull forward and influences the whole front end, so when it’s tight, you see restrictions showing up elsewhere too.

It’s also one that can get overlooked because people tend to focus more on the back and hindquarters, but actually a tight neck has a massive knock on effect through the whole body. So I am curious to hear your answers 🧐which colour are you picking?

Can we pause on life for a minute and just talk about how cute this little mare is 😍

Eloise doesn’t release easily with her tight little body so we started with red light during our session and watched her begin to soften through her eyes and eventually her body before she finally started licking and chewing ❤️
