Rutland’s 4th of July House Decorating Contest!

Let’s light up Rutland and start a new community tradition together. This contest is all about putting aside the current climate, celebrating with friends and neighbors, and showing what it means to be **Rooted in Rutland**.

🏡 **How to Enter:**
Rutland residents can enter their home by completing the initial entry form at:

www.discoverrutlandma.com

Entry forms are due by Friday, June 20.

Homes must be decorated by **Friday, June 26** and stay decorated through **Sunday, July 5** so residents can follow the contest map and enjoy the displays around town.

🗳️ **How to Vote:**
Public voting will take place online at:

www.discoverrutlandma.com

A map of participating homes will be available so you can drive around, view the displays, and vote for your favorite.

Voting closes **Monday, July 6 at 12:00 PM**.

🎉 **Prizes:**
🥇 1st Place: $1,000
🥈 2nd Place: $500
🥉 3rd Place: $250

Prize money has been generously donated by members of the **Rutland Business Association**.

Displays must be family-friendly and visible from the street.

1-3 PM.
Location- The Wood House, 232 Main St.,Rutland
Join us for our annual Lemonade Social and this year’s special exhibit! Enjoy yummy treats and cool off with a glass of fresh lemonade while you learn about the rich cultural history of our town’s Finnish American residents and Rutland’s Sovittaja Park/Finn Park who are celebrating their 100th Anniversary! Follow them - Finnish Heritage Society Sovittaja for their schedule of events at their beautiful Sovittaja Park location!

For over 50 years, the Rutland Volunteer Fire Brigade’s Annual Chicken BBQ has been a Rutland tradition, and this year is no different. 🇺🇸🔥

Join us on Saturday, June 27th, 2026 for a community favorite that brings neighbors, friends, and families together, Rooted in Rutland style.
