Pupdate! This sweet gal was Channing when we had her. She has been renamed Chancy. She has settled in and is doing very well. Her owners say she loves her toys and she's made friends with neighbors - dogs and people. Her personality has started to shine and she's a different dog these days. They take her to visit a friend who is 99 and she loves it. (There is a photo) The biggest thing is that they have worked with her and gotten her past her fear of riding in cars. She hated it before and would try to get out of the car. (In a kennel, in your lap, on a seatbelt tether-- she would freak out. We told them this before adoption and explained they would have to work with her) But with patience, she is now doing well on car rides and even took a longer trip this weekend. They worked with her to get her past it. These folks took a chance on her, that's why she's Chancy. (They take road trips and needed her to be able to ride in the car so they had motivation.) I love when folks are up to a challenge and the dog shines in their care. She's a spoiled only dog and she loves it.

Pupdate! This is a twofer. Millie is the blonde gal and the black gal is Sabrina. Sabrina was adopted in November of last year. But they wanted a second dog and adopted Millie in January of this year. Sabrina is adventurous and makes her owners giggle every day. Millie is a cuddle bug and follows her owner everywhere. The two together are perfect. They play together and sleep together (by choice) in Millie's kennel. They enjoy bike rides in the trailer-well Millie does but Sabrina would rather walk on her own. These two together are the perfect duo. We couldn't be happier for them. We love that this is where both ended up.

Pupdate! This is Ricky. I called him Ricky Bobby sometimes when he was here. He kept his name. His hair was a chopped mess when we got him but it's grown out and looks fabulous now. He is spoiled and sleeps with his parents. He likes to be under the covers with his head out like a person. He loves to play fetch and watch the squirrel through the door. They adore this boy and he's loving his life. This is the perfect place for this boy.

Pupdate! This guy was Mello with us but his name has been changed to Dakotah. He loves his morning walks and playing with balls. He was a little ball obsessed here as well. He also loves his fur sister. He loves kids and gets to play with their grandkids often. It's a great home for him. We are very happy that this is where he landed. He is spoiled and doing really well.

Pupdate! This little gal was Little Bit with us. She's been renamed Coconut. She has a few tiny siblings that she loves and follows around. She's learned to run up and down the puppy stairs and chase her sisters. Her mom works from home most of the time so she is well taken care of. We love how spoiled she is. This home is the perfect fit for this tiny gal.

Pupdate! This pup is Tabitha. She is one of Gladys' pups. Gladys came to us heavily pregnant and had these pups soon after she arrived. Tabitha has a little fluff to her coat and she is the cutest little gal. Her family kept her name, I believe. She has a fur sibling (the black pup). Her family adores her. (Her groomer does too) They said she's so sweet and silly. She has a couple kids to play with as well. We love to see these pups growing up and being spoiled in their new homes.

Pupdate on Darrin! He was one of Gladys' puppies. He's such a handsome boy. I think they renamed but not sure what his new name is. (Paco maybe?) His family says he's sweet and they love him. He has kids to play with which is usually a bonus with a puppy. He's not a year old yet so will likely grow a little bit more.
We love his coloring. So unique for a pug. We also love how he's spoiled and loved.

Pupdate! This is Gladys who was adopted last February after raising her pups here. She is sweet and loves children and adults. She has a fur friend named Coco who lives with her now. She loves having a sibling. She has grandkids to play with and is generally spoiled. She takes daily walks with her folks and they adore her. We are so happy for Gladys as this is the perfect set up for her. She loves people.
