Oh, mustn't we forget about the new, also big boy, Martin!!! He is super chill thus far. He really is quite a lazy boy compared to Paul. He is so sweet though! We are excited to have these two mature male Regal's here @ Hexapod Haven now.

This new Regal Male, Paul is super funny big boy. We have had him for about a day or two & been ready to get him moved into his bigger enclosure tomorrow! Very excited to watch if he continues to have the energy it seems he had, which is quite a bit already!

The newest eight leggied friend to our HexaPod Haven family! This GORGEOUS girl is a Sub Adult & does resemble our loved Plum. Weigela here, does have more peachy/orangey tones to her body. She also has a pretty high brow compared to Plum. She is just a hair smaller than Plum too. We love Weigela very much!

I FINALLY got her to eat something other than a fruit fly. She has been so very picky & stubborn. We continued trying & trying until BOOM she snagged it up and has been eating now for a little while. I can see her fatter in her abdomen now. She looks nice & fulll now!

Some little TINY Fran Bold babies! They are literally so cute, STOPPP!!! We are loving watching & LEARNING this process. Mind you, this is our FIRST clutch. We are ready to continue to grow & do better each time.

Miss Mama Trudy was looking so very adorable today. We had to snap a few pictures of her. She is what I have left as far as adult Bolds. Trudy has a WONDERFUL egg sack that is hanging out until they hatch. She had come out on her OWN. As Fran Mama also had done. We have Fran Bold spiderlings & soon to be Trudy spiderlings.

After the short amount of time I have had with my Regals, it does feel different than the Bolds. I have noticed my Regal's being way more food picky than the Bolds. We are excited the different patterns & colors we can see with the Regals compared to the more basic colors of a Bold. It is super fun to learn each different spood personality. Regal's tend to just be a wee bit more sensitive to the humidity & temperature. Still are VERY easy all around as pets. Handling them in also NOT A NECESSITY. If they have proper hydration, food & space (which is not much) they can & will thrive being observed.
