After our ride and being hosed off we went on another walk.

Theo still had so much energy and he thought he could attempt to bolt so we worked on sending over the ditch till he found his brain then continued walking.

Each time he thought he could speed up and identify as a kite 🪁 we lunged until he was calm again.

Teaching Theo manners away from the barn is a huge part of setting the foundation for him to be a safe and relaxed trail horse 😊

I want him to walk on a loose lead just like when I’m on his back I want a nice loose rein or else he’s going to be moving his feet until he can be calm again.

Lots of things to learn before just hitting the trails and “hoping for the best”.

He’s learning how to be a good citizen ♥️

Theo crossed the bridge today like he’s been doing it his whole life ♥️

Being there for his emotional support if he needs me, otherwise, letting him explore at his pace and checking it out as he goes along 😊
