What's the trick to getting these on? I'm about done with silkies. Out of 14 eggs. 6 hatched. 3 are dying, 2 are splayed...

What's the trick to getting these on? I'm about done with silkies.

Out of 14 eggs. 6 hatched. 3 are dying, 2 are splayed leaving me with a whipping 2 chicks. Neither is black or paint. I'm throwing on the towel. The amount I've invested to just be constantly disappointed 😞
