Our mission has always been to be a safety net for the cats that local shelters, rescues, and TNR groups simply can’t place. When a cat runs out of options, we want there to be one more door still open.

Rose is one of those cats.

She came to us in June from the humane society in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. At 12 years old, she’s deaf and slowly losing her vision. She had been waiting for quite some time without a single person showing interest.

Rose will spend the rest of her life surrounded by comfort, good care, and all the love and attention she wants. She’s the sweetest little soul who loves her window catio and gets especially excited when it’s time for wet food. ❤️

Gifts from our wishlist always get another life. In this case, we received a little Shop Vac after ours went to the big vacuum in the sky (thanks again D!).

The cats demand the boxes so Kingston got first dibs with Corky waiting his turn. The last time we saw the box, it was still intact but heavily “stapled” by pointy teeth and very furry. It may be trying to find the exit.

Marie and Purrscilla (again) enjoying a lazy afternoon behind the fence.

It may not be the prettiest fencing, but it’s sturdy. It’s buried about 6 inches underground, and if you look closely, you’ll spot the electric wires. We have two of them, one near the top and one near the bottom, to keep wildlife from digging under or climbing over the fence and reaching the netting above.

This extra layer of security gives every cat, no matter their disability, the freedom to safely enjoy the outdoors. There is nothing better than watching the blind cats like Kiki and Pixel get the zoomies or seeing our feral friends stretched out in the shade, completely relaxed. Moments like these make it all worthwhile. ❤️
