Merlin is starting to relax and let us closer. Fortunately for us he’s got a healthy appetite and is very food driven making it easier to entice him into our web where snuggles and head bonks await!

Elsa, our floofy Snow Queen, getting cozy before several days of rain hit our area. Our temps will finally cool off, which means the fleecy beds and blankets come out to keep everyone warm and snuggled.

We’ve been seeing this one-eyed kitty outside the sanctuary for the past week. We’re leaving food out in case he’s been dumped but he looks pretty healthy.

Meet Merlin. He’s a 5-6 month old kitten with limited vision. He was being cared for at a colony near downtown Rogers but he fell ill and was not a good candidate for re-release.

He’ll be examined by our eye doctor next week to determine if anything can be done about his sight. For now, he’s decided he owns the place and can frequently be seen zooming around the sanctuary chasing toys and just being a rambunctious kitten. He’s adorable!

CleoCatra, Izzie, and Winnie arrived at The Smitten Kitten cat cafe in Fayetteville today to find their forever homes. Cleo has already declared herself Queen and runs the place. Here she is searching the parking lot for her new servant. We’re sure going to miss them all. ❤️

Typical afternoon: Brie gossiping about the other cats and Elsa trying to lure us into rubbing her fluffy belly. A chicken treat for each one diverted their attention. Wait a minute…!! We fell for it again.
