Rocky Mount, NC Critical Networking We are volunteers dedicated to networking the dogs and cats of the Rocky Mount, NC Animal Shelter to help increase their chances of being rescued or adopted.

Welcome to Rocky Mount Critical Networking
We are a volunteer-run community page. We are not employed by or located at the Rocky Mount Animal Shelter. Our mission is to support the animals at the shelter by networking adoptable dogs and cats, helping increase their chances of being rescued or adopted. We encourage sharing of photos and profiles of shelter animals to give them the exposure they need to find loving homes. Rocky Mount Animal Shelter Information

πŸ’΅ Adoption Fee: $45 (includes rabies vaccination)
Adopters agree to spay or neuter the animal within 30 days of adoption.

⚠️ The Rocky Mount Animal Shelter is government-owned and unaffiliated with any animal rescue or advocacy groups. They do not solicit public donations for animal care or vetting. Our Role & How You Can Help
At Rocky Mount Critical Networking, we strive to support each animal’s rescue by helping raise pledges to assist with vetting costs:

Goal per animal:
$600 for dogs
$250 for cats

Because heartworm disease is prevalent in our area, vetting support is essential. Pledges are directed only to 501(c)(3) rescue groups once an animal is officially rescued. We do not collect or hold any fundsβ€”we simply help connect supporters with rescues that save shelter pets. Please Note:
There is no vetting done at the shelter beyond a rabies vaccine (for animals 4 months and older) and occasionally a parvo vaccine for puppies. Thank you for being a part of this lifesaving effort. Your shares, pledges, and compassion make all the difference.
