โš ๏ธ The Rocky Mount Animal Shelter is government-owned and unaffiliated with any animal rescue or advocacy groups. They do not solicit public donations for animal care or vetting. Our Role & How You Can Help
At Rocky Mount Critical Networking, we strive to support each animalโ€™s rescue by helping raise pledges to assist with vetting costs:

Goal per animal:
$600 for dogs
$250 for cats

Because heartworm disease is prevalent in our area, vetting support is essential. Pledges are directed only to 501(c)(3) rescue groups once an animal is officially rescued. We do not collect or hold any fundsโ€”we simply help connect supporters with rescues that save shelter pets. Please Note:
There is no vetting done at the shelter beyond a rabies vaccine (for animals 4 months and older) and occasionally a parvo vaccine for puppies. Thank you for being a part of this lifesaving effort. Your shares, pledges, and compassion make all the difference.

Sheila is an emaciated mama currently safe in foster with her seven young puppies. The puppies are having difficulty nursing, and the entire family is receiving supportive care.

We are looking for rescue commitment and pledges to help cover their continued medical care, supplies, and recovery support.
