We were founded in 1978 to provide housing for stray, unwanted and abandoned animals. Adoption Requirements:
1. We require 1 adult in the household to meet the animal. For select animals, we may require that multiple/all members of the household meet the animal.
2. If you have a dog, then your dog must meet the dog you intend to adopt. You must also bring proof that your dog has his/her rabies va
ccine.
3. If you own your home, you must provide proof that you own your home (i.e. mortgage statement or tax bill). If you rent your home, you must provide written approval (i.e. lease or letter) that states you can have the animal in your home. Adoption Fees:
- Puppies 8 weeks - 6 months: $350
- Puppies 6 months - 1 year: $325
- Dogs 1 year - 10 years: $225
- Dogs over 10 years: $100
- Purebred dog with papers: $400
- Purebred dogs without papers: $350
- Kittens under 1 year: $100
- Cat over 1 year: $50
- Purebred or exotic cats: as listed
All animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations for their age, dewormed, and given 30-day flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
