If you’re wondering why it’s taken a little while for your blankets to be picked up or for your blankets to be finished… THIS is why! 😅

And this isn’t even a quarter of what we currently have in the shop! 🤯 We are working through a HUGE pile of blankets right now, and we have to make some room before we can bring in more.

We are working as quickly as we can to get everyone taken care of and get blankets washed, dried, folded, bagged, and ready to head back home. 🧺🐴

We truly appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while we work through this busy season! ❤️

If you still need to drop off your blankets, PLEASE continue to drop them off! We are taking them in and working through them as quickly as possible.

We promise—we haven’t forgotten about you or your blankets! 😂 Just know there are A LOT of them! 🫣

We are working on getting blankets folded, bagged, tagged, and ready to be returned to their owners. If you need your blankets before we schedule a drop-off, feel free to reach out and see if you can arrange to pick them up!

And don’t worry — we WILL have your blankets ready before the cold weather comes in! 🥶🐴

I know everyone is in a little bit of a panic with Collins closing, and we completely understand! We are doing our absolute best to get everybody taken care of and get blankets back to their owners as quickly as possible. ❤️

We’re working hard to get caught up on all of the messages and emails about blanket cleaning! 🐴🧺

With Collins closing, we’ve been busier than usual, and we are so thankful for every single one of you who has trusted us with your blankets! ❤️

That being said, please expect delays in responses and longer-than-usual turnaround times right now. We are doing everything we can to keep blankets moving and get everyone taken care of before the cold weather comes in!

We’re a small business, and it’s still just me doing the day-to-day work, with my husband helping this season because of the huge increase in volume. We’re happy to take in as many blankets as we can, but we also want to be upfront that with just the two of us, it may take a little longer than usual to get your blankets washed, dried, waterproofed, repaired, and back to you.

We truly appreciate your patience and understanding while we work through this busy season! 🫶🏼

🧺🐴 BLANKET QUESTION!

Do you wash your horse blankets every year, or do you only wash them when they’re visibly dirty?

We see both kinds of blanket piles come through here! 😂

Even when a blanket doesn’t look terrible, sweat, dirt, hair, and oils can build up in the fabric over time.

So tell us — how often are you washing yours? 👇

Once a year?
Twice a year?
Only when they smell like a horse? 😂

Don’t give up just because it’s taking longer than you thought.

Most people don’t fail because they weren’t capable. They fail because they quit during the part where progress was hard to see.

Keep showing up. Keep doing the work. Keep believing when the results haven’t caught up yet.
You don’t have to have it all figured out—you just have to stay in the game.

Sometimes the only difference between the person who made it and the person who almost did… is that one of them kept going.

🧺 WE’RE GETTING THERE! 🧺

Another weekend of washing means another big chunk knocked off the pile!

We’re still catching up, but we can finally see the light at the end of the blanket mountain. 😂🙌

Thank you to everyone who has been patient with our slower-than-usual turnaround. Between the summer heat, rain slowing down drying, and me getting bigger by the day 🤣🤰🏼, we’ve had to adjust our pace a little.

If your blankets are still waiting to come in, mid-September is the goal to make sure we can get them cleaned and ready before baby arrives and our pickup/drop-off schedule slows down.

And remember — you’re always welcome to drop blankets off 🫶🏼
