The time has come - on June 1st I am officially shutting down the WhipKnits standalone site, https://whipknits.com/. I will continue to sell a limited number of sweaters at events and here on Facebook. All other inventory will be moved to the Etsy shop and only reindeer hats will be restocked going forward.

Until then everything on the site is 15% off. No coupon code needed, discount is automatic. There are limited sizes available of the following:

*Reindeer, elf, Santa, Max, dinosaur, and Dobby hats
*Holiday pompom scarves
*No pom snoods
*Rose snoods

Have you all seen the current social media trend talking about how these days it is important to add some whimsy into your life? I feel like this is speaking directly to WhipKnits. Of course, I have basically sold out all of the pompom hats and animal hats, but I can still share photos! I was recently sent this pic of Evie (left) and Glimmer (right) - two adorable saluki girls in their whimsical, WhipKnits pompom snoods. Look at them - dare you not to smile (for a moment).

This year I will not be a vendor at the American Whippet Club National Specialty coming up in April in Pasco, WA. But I have been knitting like crazy and these WhipKnits sweaters will be available at the Whippet Goods collar booth. There are mediums and larges, sparklies, and Seattle Seahawks colors. Please stop by and get a collar, some beads, and a sweater.

This month, WhipKnits hit close to 3,000 sales and got its 400th 5-star review in the Etsy shop. I started on Etsy 8 years ago to sell sweaters and knitting patterns. When I expanded the product lines, I scaled Etsy way back to focus on the WhipKnits standalone site. In a few months, I will be shutting down the site and moving all remaining inventory back to Etsy. As I scale back to only sweaters, patterns, and reindeer it feels right to return home to WhipKnits’ roots on Etsy.
