Finally sweater weather here in SC (though I’m sure it will get hot again soon). This sweater and a few more will be available at the WhipKnits vending table at the upcoming WRA/NOTRA Whippet Racing Nationals, Oct 2-4, in Bridgewater NJ. Come say hey if you are there. Will also have a few reindeer, mouse, and bunny snoods. Bubbles was feeling the modeling today 😉.

For those who have been following the WhipKnits journey over the years, you know that 2 loans from the microlending platform, Kiva were instrumental in keeping this biz going during some difficult economic times and allowing WhipKnits to expand to keep more dogs warm and stylish.

A good friend of mine, Jess Campbell, who also happens to be an awesome dog mom, is currently funding her 2nd Kiva loan for her book editing biz, RUFF, Manuscript’s Best Friend. You might also remember her adorable dog, Karou, who has done some WhipKnits modeling (photo in comments). I would be so happy if you would consider lending. Kiva is a microlending platform and this is not a donation, it is a loan. You will be paid back in full.

Here is the link, now go on and get lending:

Kiva is a loan, not a donation. With Kiva you can lend as little as $25 and make a big change in someone's life.

Yayoi Kusama, the artist whose work inspired one of my art snoods, has died at the age of 97. If you haven't heard of her, take a look at her work -- it is absolutely amazing.

Happy August!!! Recently finished up sweaters for these cuties. Now I am busy knitting sweaters for vending at the WRA/NOTRA Nationals in October. That will likely be WhipKnits last event for 2026.

UPDATE: 7:30AM 6/11 - larges A, C, D and mediums E, G still available

Welcome to WhipKnits first sweater drop of 2026. There is no sale album, just the 2 photos in this post. In my head, this seemed like an easier way to do this. I am hopeful it won't be chaos.

This post has 2 photos - one with the large sweaters and one with the medium sweaters. Please click on the photos and comment on the photo directly, with the letter or letters of the sweaters you want. First comment after 6pm EST gets the sweater(s). If someone comments on the post itself and not the specific photo, I will do my best to sort out the timing of the comments. May the FB gods be with us.

June 1st is fast approaching. Just a few more days for 15% off all snood and pompom scarf inventory on the WhipKnits site. Once I shut down the site and move what's left over to Etsy, it will be back to full price. As always, thanks for supporting my small biz.
