I went to sleep last night believing everything was normal. At 10:30 p.m., my sweet Shih Tzu girl was perfectly fine—healthy, calm, and surrounded by love. I never imagined that would be our last night together.

When I woke up at 6 in the morning, my world had already fallen apart. My beautiful Shih Tzu was lying beside me, silent… her little body stiff, her warmth gone. My mind wasn’t ready to accept it, but my heart already knew.

Holding on to the last bit of hope, I rushed her to the vet, still praying for a miracle. But the words I heard next shattered me completely:
“It was a heart attack.”

She was only four years old. No illness. No warning signs. We gave her good food, a safe home, and endless love. Just hours earlier, she was happy, playful, and full of life—following me around the house, wagging her fluffy little tail, and looking at me with those beautiful loving eyes.

How do you make sense of a loss that comes so suddenly?
How do you accept a goodbye when you never had the chance to say it?

My sweet Shih Tzu didn’t just leave paw prints in my home—she left them deep in my heart. 🐾

The house feels unbearably quiet now. I miss her adorable little face, her silky fur, her warm cuddles, and the way she always wanted to be close to me. Her absence hurts deeply. But my love for her will never fade.

Sleep peacefully, my beautiful Shih Tzu baby. 💔
