The babies are about 1.5 weeks old and everyone is doing great, we're settling into our new norm as a crew of 7. We have officially gotten some off ground little shuffles and some small little feeding frenzies.

Ammonite has quickly become one of the biggest boys, but TREX(Rexxy) has decided he must live up to his name. Ammonite and TREX were the first two to get up on mom to move closer to the milk bar.

Stegosaurus is still the most opinionated of the crew, she gives you the business and her angry eyebrows definitely convey the tone in her complaints.

Liopleurodon is one of the first at the milk bar and get quite milk drunk, he's truly a magical little guy. He frequently tries to snuggle into mom and myself.

TREX takes feeding time quite seriously, he loves a good snuggle session and exploring all over mom and his siblings.

Ankylosaurus is the much quieter of the 2 red girls, but still has a few opinions. She enjoys snuggling in while I read while her loud sister would rather do ANYTHING else.

Spinosaurus, sweet sweet Spinosaurus. He's the most easy going guy outta the litter, and can be found sleeping in the weirdest spots/positions in the box.

Gallimimus was the first girl to start trying to figure out how to walk and is boot scootin all around the box. She is so easy going and loves a good snuggle session.

It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this, but Trilobite had a rapid decline and despite mine and our vets best efforts he took his last breaths in my arms this afternoon. I am absolutely heartbroken with his loss, but his mom and his littermates are all doing well.

I'll forever wonder who he would have grown up to be, but I know great grandma Lil was waiting for him.

First day of ENS/ESI introduction, and man we had some big feelings and some very curious noses, our scent today was Soil.

We started off with some ENS and almost everyone had some feelings regarding each exercise but overall they were tolerant, only one had some major complaints.. looking at you Stegosaurus 😂 Megalodon was by fair the easiest of all the puppies and just chose to snuggle in my hands.

Spinosaurus and Trilobite decided that the soil smells weird and did everything in their power to avoid the tin. Gallimimus was avoidant at first and then decided that she enjoyed the smell and shoved her face in. TREX was slightly unsure and would vocalize slightly and then move in closer, while Stegosaurus needed to yell at it and then shove her nose as close as she could get. While Ammonite, Liopleurodon, Megalodon, and Ankylosaurus all were very interested in the smell and moved as close as physically possible, even trying to shove our face in the dirt.

Sorry of course supervised the whole process and had to give her stamp of approval. Everyone continues to gain weight and are starting to move around the box more. TREX will start to scratch himself if you lightly scratch his little belly.

Everyone is gaining weight and those that were docked today did fantastic and are settled back in with mom and siblings. I still pinch myself daily to make sure they are actually here.

Yesterday Sorry surprised us all with not 7 but 9 puppies, and they literally couldn't be anymore perfect. We had a smooth delivery and the whole family is doing amazing!

Thank you Aria Bentson and Annika for helping me out, cause man our hands were literally full, along with our hearts.

How can it be that my rat dog is 2!! I can't quite accept this knowledge, she was the dog I didn't know I needed until she came home. The universe and Kristine were so right when they said yeah no you're getting one of these babies. She is truly the best and always down for anything and my best snuggler.

Happiest of 2nd birthdays to Minnow, Nons, Nonnie Bonnie, Filet Mignon and so many more wild names. Here's to the next rotation around the sun ❤️
