Update on Chance
We have been hand feeding him since he got here with me on Monday. Look at him go tonight he just started eating on his own tonight. He still has a long road to recovery but this bird mom is so happy to see him eating on his own. Keep those prayers coming for him.

VET UPDATE!
At this time he will be under Dr Hess care for the next couple weeks he was examined today. He has a cracked right edge of gnathotheca along the skin edge with abnormal laity. Both top and bottom beak where damage bottom being the worse. Surgical fix is less likely to take so they have put him on antibiotics , pain medicine and will do a follow up in two weeks , as long as his beak doesn't show any sigh of necrosis they will not have to remove it. So watch for more updates and thanks so much for all the love support and donations

We will be heading out to Buffalo in just a little while. For Chance to be seen at 2:30pm, at Specialized Care For Avian and Exotic Pets. We are a little over half way to our goal of 2000$, which is absolutely amazing. If anyone else would like to donate? good morning we are waiting for appointment time for chance to be seen. This is going to be so costly we are looking at 2000.00$. Please if you can spare any pennies for his care we would greatly appreciate it, and so will little Chance. I know times are hard but anything will help to try and save this little gem. VET UPDATE!!!!
Chance was seen by a vet today and the injury was so severe he needs a specialist he will be going to Cornell tomorrow if they can get him in, due to surgeries being tomorrow, it possibly looks like thursday. This is going to be a very costly appointment.We need all the HELP we can get and please everyone say alittle prayer for chance to.

To the POS in Syracuse who took your injured bird walked into Petsmart and just let him loose in the store. Don't worry we have your bird now, and he will get the love and care he needs.
Please don't ever get another pet !!!
