THIS IS A VERY LONG POST….but worth every second. It is from a human and animal chiropractor. I know we all love our pets so please BE THEIR VOICE AND PROTECTOR.🐾🙏🐾
***********************************
This is a difficult post for me and a rather long one, and I needed some time to gather my thoughts. Most people who are friends and who have followed me over the years know that I have a full time human Chiropractic practice as well as a full time animal practice. This is my 40th year in my human practice and my 31st year in my animal practice.
The post graduate animal program I took was Options for Animals through The AVCA, The American Veterinary Chiropractic Association. At that time it was a 150 hour Basic with the option of an additional 150 hour advanced program. I finished both between 1995-1996. The AVCA program is only open to practicing Vets and practicing Chiropractors. I say this only because I have access to some of the best Veterinarians who I have enormous respect for.
I know firsthand how difficult and how rewarding Veterinary practice is. I tell all my patients; the Vets have the hard job, I have the easy one! I could not do what they do. I am grateful that they can.
As many know from recent posts of mine and especially my wife Jennifer’s, we have recently lost one of our beautiful Australian Shepherds, Brody. We have no children of our own but we both are the youngest of big families. For those who have no children, our dogs are the closest we will ever come. They have brought us unconditional love and incredible joy to our lives.
Brody passed several weeks ago from an all too common Cancer among dogs, especially Australian Shepherds, Hemangiosarcoma. This is one of the diseases along with Osteosarcoma of the bones and Lymphoma which have claimed the lives of far too many dogs, some as young as 1 or 2 yrs old.
We have lost FOUR of our beloved dogs to various diseases, all before the age of 8 yrs old.
THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! Our dogs, like most of you reading this, get the best food, the best care, and the most loving environment anyone could ask for. Mine even have their own personal Chiropractor.
Now we have to talk about the ELEPHANT in the room… these diseases ARE NOT GENETIC!!!
Anyone who tells you they are, are either uninformed, ignorant of the facts, or lying.
The Domesticated dog Genome, like the Human Genome, have not changed in 40,000
YEARS. The only thing that has changed in the last 100 years is the ENVIRONMENT the genes are in. In other words the TOXICITY of the cells that the genes exist in. The only thing that has changed in the last 50 years are the number and frequency of the drugs and chemicals our pets and our own bodies have been exposed to…
Starting with the puppy VACCINES,continuing with the flea and tick meds and every
New and Improved drugs currently pushed on us by big Pharma advertising and their marketing arm, the medical communities. This has to stop.
I have had dogs continuously since the age of seven. Our dogs ate what we ate; table scraps and whatever the least expensive dog food was that my dad could afford. They even ate chocolate candy. Some were overweight and still lived to the age of 14 or 15. They only saw the Vet if they were seriously injured. My dad couldn’t afford to do more. Our first dog was a Cockerpoo and was my dad’s shadow. She was loved immensely.
25 years ago our first Aussie had a severe reaction to Heart Guard. We lost her at 5 years old. Our second Aussie have a severe reaction to his first Rabies booster at 18 months. The Vet even reported it as a ‘Vaccine reaction’. We spent the next 2 years trying to keep him from dying. We lost him at 4 yrs old. We lost Kodi, our
3rd Aussie 2 weeks shy of his 8th birthday , to Hemangiosarcoma, and now Brody to the same at 5 yrs old.
I don’t doubt that Aussies are more sensitive to vaccines and chemicals, Like Bernese Mountain Dogs and Golden Retrievers. This is NOT a genetic weakness . These breeds are the
‘Canaries in the Coal mine’ ! They are the early warning signals of a much more serious and dangerous threat.
It is way past time for the Veterinary profession to start questioning the actual source of these Cancers, instead of accepting the information taught to them or given to them by the Pharmaceutical Industrial Complex.
Right now RFK Jr is exposing the dangers of the Childhood Vaccines recommended by the Corrupt CDC, and the absolute fraudulent lack of research on the part of the Vaccine manufacturers. Those of us in the actual health professions have known since 1988 of the direct connection of Thimerosol/Mercury as the main preservative in all vaccines. That information was kept from parents even to this day. Mercury is a heavy metal that crosses directly across the Blood/Brain Barrier and causes immediate Organic changes. The second most common preservative in Vaccines is Aluminum, which also crosses the Blood/Brain Barrier. For a real eye opener, watch what a single drop of Mercury does to an Aluminum I-Beam. (Google it).
Its way past time to look for legitimate research
on animal vaccines, especially the puppy shots. There are Wholistic Vets out there, but they are few and far between. The ones they are finding are just as, or more expensive than the Corporate Clinics. Just like in human heathcare, if they dont follow the big Pharma protocol, they are harassed and ostracized by the profession at large. It’s time to face the hard truth, drugs are big Pharma’s business model, and the more the better, and the more expensive the better.
Again I do not fault the Vets for this situation. They have been lied to since their days in Vet schools about the safety and efficacy of these drugs. The vast majority of the Vets are caring, hard working people who do a difficult, much needed and greatly appreciated job.
The simple truth is that Big Pharma dictates our current Medical Systems. You have to go outside those systems to find natural, safe and effective alternatives. This has become more difficult by Corporate Conglomerates buying-up traditional Vet and human medical practices.
Now more than ever there is a need for a return to common sense, affordable health care, without the over utilization of ridiculously expensive tests and procedures.
Every single week a patient asks me for a recommendation for a traditional Vet or Medical Professional. I have to admit it is much easier to guide my human patients than my animal clients.
In closing i want to emphasize my respect and appreciation for the Vet community at large. I also must emphasize i am sick and tired of losing our beloved pet family members decades before their time.
Most importantly, Animal owners are the one demographic that crosses every other demographic; young/old, male/female, white/black, gay/straight, dogs/cats/horses etc. There is strength in numbers. WE are the primary healthcare providers for our animal family members. WE decide who we allow to care for our animals. WE decide how, when and what we allow our animal family members to be treated with. It’s time to remind our politicians, our heath professionals and especially the Pharmaceutical Cartels what we want, and more importantly, what we DO NOT want injected into our family members.
Remember, we vote with our Dollars first, and our ballots second.
These are my personal experiences and my
Personal opinions. I support a healthy honest discussion of yours. Thank you for allowing me to grieve openly for the loss of our most recent, painful and beloved Aussie, Brody, and the far too many others we’ve lost before their time.
God speed Brody. Our hearts are with you!
