Things have been hoppin around here lately. New kittens coming, no adoptions but lots of wonderful donations!!! AND, drumroll please, a foster to adopt is in progress!!!! Our latest intake, Erin and Dolly, happened on the same weekend and they bonded immediately. They both suffered traumatic beginnings. Our amazing donors, Charlotte and Cal, have decided to take these little nuggets in, sponsor their vet bills with Katz Veterinary Services, LLC and then adopt them into their very loving home. I took them over on Friday, where they also got to meet Grandma Bobbie who made a lovely donation, thanks again and again!!! They moved right in and are now very spoiled and loved, loving life 🥰 It's hard saying goodbye, I get a little teary, but knowing how loved and happy they will be is priceless to me! This is why we do this, right here. Thank you both for opening your hearts and home to the sweetest little nuggets

Better late than.... you know! Huge thank you to Charlotte for you wonderful donation of kitten food. With 6 little nuggets, food goes fast! We sure do appreciate all you do for us ❤️

Wow, lots happening here! An amazing monetary donation to help with the nuggets vetting from our wonderful friend Charlotte, Cal dropped off 6 boxes of litter and Charlotte then dropped off 2 large bags of cat kibble!!!!! 🐈 So much gratitude for these two kitty lovers for their incredible support.

Well when it rains, it pours!!! Last night I got a call for a kitten placement through our friend Kayla. The momma had been shot and the sibling had it's neck broken. A woman barely had a chance to save the one. Let's not get me started on the inhumanity of (hardly) people. We said yes, of course. She's bringing it tomorrow.
Just an hour ago an elder lady is banging on my door. She and her friend found a kitten, barely has teeth, at the dollar store. Covered in fleas, filthy dirty and it's tail has been CUT OFF!!!!! After a bath, will need more, some antibiotic cream on the tail wound and some milk it's sleeping in a decked out cage on the porch.
Both kitties will need full vetting! We are kindly asking for donations to help with the very unexpected cost of not one, but two very young nuggets.

If you’ve been putting off having your male cat neutered, now is the perfect time. We currently have no waiting list for male cats through our low-cost Fix the Future spay/neuter program.

For just $25, your cat will receive:
• Neuter surgery
• Vaccinations
• A microchip

Female cats are still on a waiting list, but we’re working through it as quickly as possible.

This program is made possible through the partnership of Tift Animal Rescue Inc., BISSELL Pet Foundation, Cathy Bissell, and our incredible volunteers. With two clinics every month, more than 80 community cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped—helping reduce overpopulation and improve the lives of cats throughout our community.

Katz Veterinary Services, LLC day for the 4 nuggets. Minis get rabbi shots and micros get 2nd vaccine. Hopefully book the minis for fixing and then they are ready for adoption. Woohoo!
