9/6/26 / food stations set up w Cameras in area near Sick Farms - yeti was Pushed out of an Area yesterday after a guy stopped his car and chased her across a field - Witnessed by Yetis owner - PLEASE 🙏 help spread the Word - DO NOT Call out or chase her

She needs to stay calm and hopefully stay in the new established grid !!

Yeti was struck by a vehicle and is in extreme Heightened Fear / Survival Mode

A Wonderful Concerned Lady named Heidi reached out late last night about a Black and white dog wandering on Flynn/ West Hill road Bliss , I told her I could look into it , then this am she messaged that the dog seen on Flynn was the same one her daughter had seen on Hiram rd( east Arcade ) on Friday . I was going out to look around West Hill road when My Nephew and Brother called saying there was a black and white dog wandering up Route 78 on the side of the road . A storm was brewing , so I quickly responded out and found the dog , She started to run off and I sat down and took the lid off the Food I brought . She would watch me at a distance , but eventually just lyed down. I started crawling to her , then tossed some beef 🥩 to her, she would eat and take a few steps away then lay back down . After about 45 minutes of this in the pouring rain , I was able to get a leash on her . I sent a Photo to Heidi and she confirmed this is the same dog seen in East Arcade and Bliss - She decided to come to Gainesville so she could find me to get caught ♥️♥️ I named her “Shy”
She is very shy and Very Sweet , she is very thin and appears to have been wandering a while and a great distance, she is a border collie . Shy is Now at the Wyoming County Animal Shelter 786-8938 , If you know anything ablut her please call them , She does not have a microchip , no collar or identification. If not claimed she will be put up for adoption- She will make someone a great pet.

9/2/26 UPDATE- PLEASE 🙏 Wait until Jack is posted on the vfa website before calling about filling out an application for Jack- He is still awaiting vetting and is not ready to receive applications just yet - Thank you 🙏 From Genesee County Animal Shelter

Jack the Sweet little Muppet that was on the run in Batavia was Owner surrendered , so he is now up for adoption at Genesee County Animal Shelter - He is a sweet little guy , and deserves a Great FOREVER home 🏡 - If I get an updated photo of him Ill add on - Im sure he will look super cute with a new haircut ♥️

♥️♥️ Jack UPDATE 8/30/26 ♥️♥️

Jack went missing in Batavia Aug 16th , The Owners Friend Marlena reached out to Joe and I Aug 18th for Help. Unfortunately The Owner had only gotten him from a Rehome a few hours before Jack ran with a leash attached , the First reaction was to chase Jack and try to catch him, Which is generally the first reaction from all Humans- As we dont want something bad to happen to the Dog- However, chasing a fleeing dog can do more harm than good. Jack had settled in an Area behind Home Depot , Joe set up a Feed station and Camera , but good intentions from the new owner was again to try and catch Jack , continually going out and calling for Jack only pushed him out of the area , again. The last Sighting on Jack was Sunday (8/23 )was at Tim Hortons Between Rt 63 and Rt 5 - Joe and I were out within the hour of the Sighting , Joe flew his Thermal Drone again , But unfortunately there was No luck spotting him . This morning , Sarah from Genesee County Animal Control reached out that the night shift picked up a dog that fit the description of Jack. He was in the Big Tree Glen Apartments complex off Rt 5 - Coincidentally next door to the Genesee County Animal Shelter , A Deputy had responded , picked him up and took him to the Shelter . I confirmed with Sarah that this was in deed Jack and she notified the Owners friend for him to make arrangements to pick him up ♥️ Glad Jack is Safe and His Adventures running around Batavia are Over !!!

Please 🙏 learn about calming techniques, get down Low and do not Yell out or Chase a Fleeing dog, Especially when They do not know the new Owner(s) yet . Sitting or kneeling down is important with a skittish dog- Standing up is viewed as a threat to them , toss food in their direction, no direct eye contact, dont yell , soft and sweet talk if you talk at all .

8/29/26 : NO SIGHTINGS AT ALL since last Sunday at Tim Hortons , the caller said she did not see the leash, so we’re assuming he was able to pull out of the collar , thank goodness !! - Please 🙏 keep Sharing , We would Love to Help secure this Little scared guy - We just have NO idea where he went - Please Help Sharing in All of Genesee County and surrounding areas of Batavia 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Sighting of Jack this evening in the Tim Hortons Parking Lot on Rt 63 across from Tops.
Caller did not see a leash attached , So its believed Jack most likely got caught up om something and was able to wiggle out of his collar .
Joe and I met out at the Fire Department and Joe flew his drone covering a the wedge from Tim Hortons to BJs and the field behind
More Flyers put up in the area and near houses on Colonial Drive , The ring door Bell app was also updated to also cover that area

I had a few wonderful owner donations this year , but a majority of cases are pro bono , this fundraiser helps me get through the year without hopefully dipping in to my own fixed income .

♥️♥️ An Update On Caramel from The Wonderful Boarding Facility owned by Cassandra Bauer who stepped in and Up for the Now renamed Karma the Great Dane from Dansville ♥️♥️

Janet aka Carmel pupdate 🐾💕

We renamed her Karma because unfortunately she was responding to Carmel, but Karma seems fitting because I hope it comes around quick for whoever dumped her on a back road. 👏

She loves Q, has ignored other dogs for the most part so far. 🤗

She cowers at loud noises and when you try to put a leash on her so I'm assuming she was not treated kindly at points in her life. 😡

She can open gates 🫠 and has a degree of separation anxiety but housetraining is coming along slowly!

We shifted her to Springwater because I have space there. She will be getting vetted on Friday, so if you'd like to donate towards that or her food any consideration is so appreciated.
