WE ARE ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS!

We are certified and ready to go! We are one of only TWO facilities in the US who are certified to offer The Horse Course. It is a unique and proven effective approach to equine assisted learning. It was started in the UK 15 years ago and has been revolutionary. With thousands of participants to date from widely varied walks of life, they have been able to record and report that approximately 80% of participants experience lasting life-change no matter their circumstances. I have not posted on here in FOR-EH-VER! 😆 I've been busy working and taking care of family stuff while also slowly accumulating training and building our program. I have been pursuing a certification with a group called The Horse Course based in the UK since 2017. The creator of this program, Harriet Laurie, is coming to the US for a visit in April! I would love for anyone who would like to know more about this program (and why I've been so obsessed with it) to be able to come out to meet Harriet and hear what it's all about. Get in touch if you're interested and we'll see what we can put together. 😁

Don't forget!!!!

Scenic City Equestrian Center is excited to announce we are starting an Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) team!

This tryout is for 9-12 grade riders only.

We are hoping to have enough riders after tryouts to compete in all 3 disciplines that IEA has to offer, which are Dressage, Hunt Seat, and Western.

Western riders - please wear bootcut jeans, a button-down shirt, and boots. Hunt Seat and Dressage riders - please wear tan breeches, a nice polo shirt, and paddock boots (tall boots are also okay if you don’t have paddock boots).

We will send out patterns for the Intermediate/advanced riders to memorize 2 days before tryouts. These patterns will be for the Ranch, Dressage, and Western Horsemanship riders.

Please DM or email [email protected] if you have any questions, or want more information.

Date: Saturday, September 23
Time: 10am
Location: Scenic City Equestrian Center, 981 Wooten Rd, Ringgold, GA 30736

You can learn more about the Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) at rideiea.org.

I am so excited to FINALLY be able to announce that Harmony Horsemanship is now exclusively offering equine therapy! This is something I have been wanting to get started since about 2017, and it’s finally all coming together! WE WILL BEGIN TAKING CLIENTS SHORTLY, AND THERE WILL BE MORE INFO TO COME ABOUT THE SPECIFIC TYPE OF EQUINE THERAPY WE WILL BE OFFERING.

In case you are wondering, I will still be training horses and teaching lessons, but I will be doing those through different avenues.

IF YOU WANT TO INQUIRE ABOUT HORSE TRAINING AND/OR HORSE BREEDING, YOU CAN CONTACT ME THROUGH ([email protected]). I am also still available for clinics through this organization. And WE ARE TAKING RESERVATIONS FOR OUR MARVELOUS STUD, BC DUAL CATALYST, FOR BREEDING NEXT SPRING. Check us out to find out more about him!

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN HORSEMANSHIP LESSONS, I am now teaching at . YOU CAN CONTACT ME DIRECTLY THROUGH [email protected]. We offer lessons in different English and Western disciplines and also do group and individual trail rides, as well as camps and all kinds of fun stuff. You can find more info on our website: sceniccityequestrian.com.

Thank you all for your support thus far in this journey, and I am really looking forward to seeing what all this next step holds. STAY TUNED!!
