Who else is dreaming of Fall? ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ™Œ

I can't wait to see Fall colors like this ๐Ÿ˜ We made it to Upstate New York after leaving Virginia and it truly has been like traveling directly from Summer to Fall! It has me so ready for all the flannel, campfires, fall foliage & pumpkins! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‚๐Ÿงฃ๐ŸŽƒ๐Ÿฅฎ

Little weekend recap ๐ŸŽค๐Ÿ˜๐ŸคŸ

Headed down to Virginia Beach for the Pitbull concert with our friends. Ended up turning it into a weekend of concerts once we found out Billy Idol was playing the next night. It was a blast! Live music is always a treat and it was so fun experiencing two very different types of concerts back to back. We were definitely in bed by 9:30 last night ๐Ÿคฃ

We also strolled the boardwalk with Scout, I got to visit one of my very oldest and best friends (since the 6th grade!) and we just slowed down a little to soak up the end of summer ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿงก

One of the most epic drives ever! ๐Ÿ˜โ›ฐ๏ธ

Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park is absolutely incredible. ๐Ÿ˜

We've done it several times but the real treat is when you don't have to drive at all! The historic Red Bus Tours are a fantastic option so that you can take in all the scenery without having to keep your eyes glued to the road. Plus the narration is fantastic!

They offer several lengths and routes, too. The tour we did was a full day from West Glacier to Many Glacier on the East side and back. Highly recommend!

Happy Nomadiversary to us! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿš๐Ÿ’จ

8 years ago we picked up the RV, loaded up our life and two pups, and hit the road.

We had no idea what was in store for us. And honesty, no clue what we were really doing. Just a hope and a dream mixed with a big sense of adventure.

โ€‹Did we make a mistake? Would we regret buying an RV? What if we hated it? I remember ALL the doubt creeping in.

โ€‹Turns out, it was the catalyst for the best years of our lives.

That one big decision led to so many amazing things...

Starting our YouTube channel, finding our third furry family member, RVing across Canada, Mexico, and Alaska (twice!), filming in 40 National Parks. It brought us dream partnerships, new RVs to test, and the push to launch a travel business that has taken us around the globe with the most amazing people turned friends.

โ€‹We are overwhelmingly thankful for how it has all worked out.

Cheers to 8 years of endless adventures, and a huge thank you to all of you for riding shotgun with us! ๐Ÿฅ‚๐ŸŒ

Working on that whole cooking more at home thing ๐Ÿณ๐Ÿซก

One of the major selling points of our Navion when we were RV shopping was the big full length kitchen! It's still one of our favorite features. ๐Ÿ™Œ

Do you try to cook most meals in your RV?

Relate to any of these?! ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™€๏ธ

After eight years on the road, we want to make sure we're continuing to set ourselves up for success because the last thing you want is burn out.

1. Slowing Down: in the beginning, we traveled like we were running out of time! The excitement of endless new places was real. But that isn't sustainable. Slowing down and enjoying where we are gives us time to settle in and not feel so rushed. This one is always a work in progress!

2. Revisiting places we've been before: don't get me wrong, we LOVE exploring new places but it's ok to return to a place you've already been and really enjoyed. That's the beauty of RV life... Heading back to that favorite restaurant or redoing a favorite hike. We have a few places on our Fall list that we've already been before and we're excited to head back!

3. Decluttering and letting go of things: did I need THREE nearly identical scarves? Absolutely not. ๐Ÿ˜… As you know, we recently cleaned out a massive storage unit full of stuff that we just didn't need anymore. Not only are we saving money but letting go has been incredibly freeing!

4. Prioritizing location (+ amenities) over price: there was a time where cheaper seemed better, but driving 45 minutes to the city you want to explore isn't always worth the price tag. Now, we prioritize convenience, comfort and amenities over price.

5. Re-establishing Routine: full-time travel does not mean full-time vacation (we wish ๐Ÿคฃ). It's so easy to want to eat out and explore all the time, but work and health still need to be a priority. It's all about balance and committing to cooking more meals at home, exercising regularly, intentional date nights and just resting needs to be a priority.

Bonus: Reconnecting with family and friends along the way! When you live a nomadic life, you really start missing your people and that sense of community you have back home. We've been able to see both sides of our family more and take trips with friends, which helps us stay connected with people we love while on the road.

Back on the road! ๐Ÿš๐Ÿ’จ

This month will mark 8 years of living nomadically in a home on wheels. ๐Ÿคฏ But this past year, we were forced to slow down and be stationary for longer than we've ever been.

Part of it was health. Part of it was work. None of it was expected.

Sometimes life throws ya curve balls and things don't turn out as you expected. Plans may shift, dreams may change... And that's ok.

Now, we're coming through the other side of some of those issues and we're so excited to get back to what we love about this lifestyle! We're easing back in, dreaming up new big plans and getting back to our roots. And it all feels right ๐Ÿฅฐโค๏ธ

40th birthday magic! ๐Ÿช„๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿ˜โœจ

We had the best time sharing our love of Disney with my mom, sister and nephew! One of the best parts was watching Cameron experience it all. He absolutely loved every ride (even Pirates of the Caribbean and his first rollercoaster, Barnstormer)!

One of my favorite parts was discovering that he loves Storm Troopers ๐Ÿคฃ Being an Aunt is the best!

Thank you all so much for all the birthday wishes. The celebrations continue later this week with my girlfriends and I am feeling so loved and excited for this new decade ๐ŸŽ‰โค๏ธ๐Ÿ™Œ

Happy 40th Birthday to my ultimate adventurer and co-pilot, Katelyn! ๐ŸŽ‰
โ€‹When your house has wheels for nearly eight years, birthday traditions completely change. We traded reservations at a familiar hometown restaurant for plotting coordinates on a map somewhere in the world. Our favorite tradition has become looking back through our photos and playing the "Where were we?" game. (The photos in this slide are the ultimate game board! ๐Ÿ˜‰)
โ€‹Every year brings a brand-new backdrop; from quiet National Parks to unexpected roadside discoveries. But for this milestone, we needed to make it truly unforgettable.

Today, we are celebrating Katelynโ€™s big 4-0 right here in Florida, surrounded by family, and achieving a massive first: experiencing their very first trip to Disney World! โœจ๐Ÿฐ

โ€‹Plotting coordinates for the rig or booking flights is fun, but seeing the pure magic and joy through their eyes is a gift that tops any other map dot. This memory officially wins the "Where were we?" game for 39 years!
โ€‹I wouldnโ€™t want to explore this worldโ€”or Magic Kingdomโ€”with anyone else.
โ€‹
Drop some birthday love for Katelyn in the comments below! ๐Ÿ‘‡ Have you ever done a big group trip to Disney for a milestone, or is it on your bucket list?
