The first round of testing is underway, and the initial results are encouraging. While there's still lots of room for refinement, the design is shaping up to be just what I was wanting, going from concept to reality!

What started as a passion project in our garage is finally coming to life.

Launching in 2025, Lab Tested Dog Toys is a family-owned brand built from real recycled fire hose, tested by the toughest chewers, and inspired by the best dog that’s ever lived — Gunner.

As a former firefighter and lifelong dog owner, I wanted to build something that could take a beating, tell a story, and honor the dogs that never quit on us, whether in the patrol car, in the field, or in our homes. So we started sewing durable bumpers, tugs, and chews by hand — right here in Georgia.

We’re just getting started, and we’d love your support.
Follow along. Share your pup. Tag us with and show us what your dog can do —
and we’ll do our best to make our toys stand up to that test.

This one’s for Gunner.
Built to last. Just like him.
