Welcome to Burli Equine! Burli Equine, LLC is a small business co-founded by Jordan Palubicki and Bekah Holman in an effort to fill a need in the equine market.

Medi-Muffins are a soft horse treat designed to be a vector for administering oral equine medications in a hassle free way! These tasty treats make giving oral meds pain free and the horses love them. Feed them as a tasty treat too!

It's been a good run but Burli Equine is going out of business. Thanks to everyone for your support! Below is the recipe for Medi Muffins so that your horses can still enjoy a tasty treat or so that you can sneak in some meds!

Makes about 2 dozen muffins

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

1/2 cup and 2 tbsp horse feed
1/2 c sunflower seeds
2 tsp cornstarch
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup and 2 tbsp old fashioned oats
3/4 cup molasses (boiled with 2 tbsp corn starch if you want extra chewy muffins)

1. Scoop muffin batter into mini muffin tin that's been sprayed with cooking spray (we used a silicon pan for easy removal after baking).
2. Bake for 14-18 minutes
3. After baking, poke muffins with a dowel or peg to create cavity for medication.
4. Pop muffins out onto a wire cooling rack and let rest until cool.

Enjoy! And thanks again!
