Over the years I’ve worked a bunch of different jobs and side gigs, trying to figure out where I fit. No matter what I was doing, the best part of my day was always any moment I got to spend with dogs.⁣
⁣
This business lets me combine:⁣
• my love for dogs⁣
• my passion for animal welfare⁣
• my entrepreneurial side⁣
• and my desire to support busy pet parents⁣
⁣
I love being outside, keeping things tidy, and giving dogs real care & attention— so offering p**p scooping and drop-ins just made sense for me. 👌⁣

Down the road I may even add boarding… but for now, this is exactly where I want to be.⁣

Hi there 👋⁣ I’m Tasha — the owner of Peterson’s P**p Scoop & Pet Care.⁣

I think it’s important to know who you’re trusting with your fur baby, so here’s a little about me:⁣
⁣
I grew up in NE Iowa (𝘞𝘢𝘶𝘬𝘰𝘯 𝘚𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘰𝘳 𝘏𝘪𝘨𝘩 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘥) and earned my Human Services degree from Kirkwood. I’m a proud rescue dog-mom to a sweet Black Mouth Cur mix, and I’ve loved animals since I was a toddler.⁣
⁣
My pet care experience includes:⁣
🏠 5+ years of in-home dog sitting⁣
🛁 Dog bathing + nail grinds at PetSmart⁣
🐾 Kennel attending⁣
💊 Medication administration⁣
🚐 Pet transporting⁣
💉 Rescue intakes at a local animal shelter⁣
⁣
Outside of pet care, I’ve worked in retail, insurance, healthcare, and network marketing — so customer service and communication are second nature to me. I take a lot of pride in being professional, positive and solution-focused.⁣

When I’m not with dogs, you’ll find me listening to live music, enjoying the outdoors, playing tennis, or winning a game of euchre. ⁣

💩 One-time yard clean-ups⁣
💩 Weekly p**p-scooping⁣
🐕 Daily dog drop-ins⁣

Drop-ins may include:⁣
• Potty breaks⁣
• Snuggles + playtime⁣
• Water refreshers⁣
• Medication/RX help⁣
• Quick p**p pick-up⁣
• Picture + text updates each visit⁣
⁣
