Southpaw Dog Training is officially booked for Board & Train programs through the summer!

We are now accepting Board & Train clients for late September and October!

We are still taking clients for private in-home training and behavior modification, but availability is becoming limited there as well for the month of June.

We truly appreciate every client who has trusted us with their dogs. The support this year has been incredible, and we can’t wait to continue helping more families build better relationships with their dogs.

Lew, the 4 month old cocker spaniel is currently enrolled in our in home private training program.

This little handsome bo**er is struggling with the classic excitement peeing and potty training as a cocker spaniel puppy. We are learning our basic obedience and manners. Along with implementing management strategies for our excited peeing when guests come over.

Scooby Doo the English Lab is here to stay with us for a board and train. This boy is already enrolled in our in home training program and mom wanted to rebuild a solid obedience foundation for him since the move.

Scooby is a super smart dog and catches on quickly and is very food motivated. We have no doubt he is gonna do great these next two weeks! 🦴🩷

Hercules had a very successful field trip at Lowes during the after work rush! This sweet boy loves everybody and sometimes doesn’t know his size.

We were able to walk by tons of people without getting super distracted! This sweet boy has a few more days with us and we are so happy to see his progress. 😊💙

I’m so excited to officially announce that I’m now a Certified Canine Conditioning Fitness Coach (CCFC)!

This is something I’ve wanted to pursue for a long time since doing a conditioning workshop with my own pup. From that day, I have become fascinated with it.

Canine conditioning is about so much more than balance equipment and cute tricks. It focuses on building strength, body awareness, coordination, flexibility, and overall fitness to help dogs move and feel their best.

As a Canine Conditioning Fitness Coach, I can now create conditioning and fitness plans, assess movement and gait patterns, identify potential muscle imbalances, and work alongside veterinary recommendations to help dogs build strength safely and effectively.

Whether it’s a sport dog, a young active dog, a senior dog needing to maintain mobility, or a pet dog that could benefit from improved fitness, canine conditioning can make a huge difference in their quality of life.

I am genuinely SO excited to bring this service to Southpaw Dog Training and can’t wait to start helping dogs become stronger, healthier, and more confident. 💙🐾

Hercules the one year old german shepherd/ Pyrenees mix is here to stay with us for the next two weeks for a board and train.

This sweet boy is a gentle loving giant who needs a touch up on manners and overall obedience. His owner is going to test him for the AKC Canine Good Citizen with us after his stay. Everyone wish Hercules good luck! 😊💙

We still have a Board and Train spot available for June 15th!

This is the last available Board & Train opening until the end of July. If you’ve been thinking about getting your dog started with obedience, manners, leash walking, recall, impulse control, and real-world training, now is the time to grab it.

Spots are extremely limited due to in-home program setup and this opening likely won’t stay available long.
