2016 AQHA Gelding “Skipper W Bird”

Sandman is the kind everyone looks for but rarely finds. This 2016 gelding has a foundation in Ranch Riding and Ranch Conformation, with all the right pieces to continue developing in the show pen. He’s personable and genuinely enjoys people - an “in your pocket,” meet-you-at-the-gate type who thrives on attention and connection.

Under saddle, Sandman is willing, consistent, and tries hard every ride. He aims to please and gives you the same honest effort every time you swing a leg over. While he’s straightforward, he does appreciate a confident, experienced rider who won’t let him test boundaries. Once he knows you mean business, he settles right in and goes to work.

This gelding shines outside the arena. He is a trail horse deluxe who loves getting out and seeing the world. He’s the kind that makes you look forward to long rides, whether you’re putting on miles, checking fence, or simply enjoying a quiet evening ride.

Sandman is an ideal partner for someone wanting a sweet, people oriented gelding with the brain and ability to keep advancing with more time and miles.
