Update: foster found! He’s still looking for a home though 🐾💙

Meet Astro! 💙🐾
Around 16 weeks old & 14lbs he’s already stealing hearts🥹
Astro came to us from the reservation after being found by a kind person who wanted to make sure he got the chance he deserved. Out of so many who need help, he was one of the lucky ones!🐾

We’re now searching for a foster home or furever home for this sweet boy💞He’s already loving life, playing happily with the other dogs, doesn’t mind cats so far, and soaking up all the attention!! He’s such a happy, affectionate puppy and has no idea just how lucky he is 🐶💙 he is doing great with kennel training and potty training so far, this smart little cookie is catching on fast!

Please help us find Astro a loving home! He deserves the very best. ✨

Jax is STILL waiting for his furever home… 8 months later!💔

Jax is a 3 year old Boxer with the biggest heart and so much love to give. He absolutely adores people and kids and he wants to be right by your side — usually giving kisses and forgetting about personal space.😆

When Jax first came into our care, he struggled being around other animals due to the trauma he experienced early in life after being attacked multiple times by new dogs.🥺 He was constantly on edge and unsure of who or what he could trust. But with patience, structure, and love, Jax has made incredible progress.🥰 He is currently thriving in a foster home with other dogs and even two cats! (Side note: We will not adopt him into a home with cats due to his high prey drive when initially meeting them.) While Jax does very well with most dogs he knows and trusts, he can still be reactive toward new dogs, especially on walks or in busy public settings. Because of this, he would do best with an owner who understands his needs and can continue helping him build confidence through training, structure, and proper introductions!

Jax would be happiest living a more laid-back lifestyle, whether that means relaxing at home with his people or going on adventures to quieter, secluded places without a lot of dogs around. Despite this, he has made amazing progress in foster care and continues to improve every day. Once he feels comfortable, Jax absolutely loves to play, be goofy, and make new dog friends, and we truly believe he will keep blossoming with the right family by his side.😊

Jax would love a playful canine companion, but he needs the right match — a non-dominant dog and an experienced owner who understands introductions, boundaries, and helping him continue building confidence!🙂 Once Jax knows another dog is safe, his goofy, playful personality shines through.🐶

He loves playing ball, going on adventures, learning new things, and being with his people. He already knows many commands, listens very well, and is incredibly loyal to the people he trusts.🩵

Jax is looking for an experienced home with a house and a fenced yard where he can run, play, and continue to grow. He truly thrives with other dogs when paired with the right fit and proper guidance!

After everything he’s been through, Jax deserves a family to finally call his own. We hope his perfect people find him soon.🥹🐾

Update: puppies are covered!!

UPDATE: all 6 puppies have a foster IF we can find a temporary foster willing to foster 4 of the puppies from the evening of June 5th-morning of June 8th when their foster can come pick them up! Please message us if you can help 🥹🐾

Mama Nova and her 6 puppies will be arriving in just 2 weeks, on June 5th/6th! 🥹💞 They’ll be traveling all the way from New Mexico in hopes of getting the second chance they deserve❤️‍🩹

By the time Nova and her babies arrive, the puppies will be about 8 weeks old, which means they’ll be ready to separate from mama and head into foster homes for at least 2 weeks while they prepare for adoption!🐶🐾 We are hoping to place the puppies in 2 groups of 3, but can also split them into 3 groups of 2 if needed.
We also need a foster for Mama Nova. She can be placed with a group of puppies or on her own, but either way- she has been through so much change in the last few months and will need a calm, safe space to decompress and feel secure.💞❤️‍🩹

Nova gave birth to 4 of her puppies in the shelter, and while she was there, 2 orphaned strays around the same age were given to her to care for as well. She has been an incredible mama and now it’s her turn to be cared for🥹🐾

If you’re interested in fostering Mama Nova and/or her puppies, please apply through the link in the comments! Previous fosters or adopters do not need to reapply, just send us a message! When applying, please submit an application for Nova, and specify whether you’re interested in fostering Mama Nova, her puppies, or both- and how many puppies you’re able to take!

At this time, we are not accepting adoption applications for Nova or the puppies. If you’re interested in adopting, please keep an eye on our page for updates, or consider foster-to-adopt.
If you’re unable to foster, please help us by sharing this post so we can find loving homes and give these 7 deserving souls the fresh start they need!❤️

UPDATE: Jackie has been ADOPTED!
Thank you everyone for your help with Jackie. We appreciate those of you that were able to donate towards her boarding bill, all of the excess donations will be used towards paying off our vet bill!🩷🐾

Jackie is in boarding… and she doesn’t understand why. 😢 This 10 month old puppy, who has already survived more than most dogs ever should, just lost her foster home. Instead of a couch, a routine, and people to love her, she’s now sitting in a kennel. 🥺

Boarding is no place for a puppy.
No place to grow, no place to feel safe, no place to be loved the way she deserves. And the hardest part? Jackie is a GOOD dog. She’s smart, eager to please, great with kids, dogs, cats, even farm animals. She listens, she learns fast, and all she wants is someone to love.🩷

She fought to survive when she was the only puppy in her litter to make it. She deserves more than this. If you can open your home, even temporarily, this is your sign. Jackie needs out! She needs a person.🥹🐾

‼️Right now, we really need help covering the cost of her boarding while we search for a foster or adopter, but it adds up quickly.‼️
If you can’t foster or adopt, please consider donating to help us keep Jackie safe while she waits. Ways to donate:

Update: ADOPTED

Blaze is a handsome 3 year old, 67 lb Border Collie/Pit mix who is searching for a calm, loving, new furever home. 🥹💙 Adopted from us as a puppy, Blaze has grown into a sweet, mellow companion who thrives in the right environment🐾 He is housebroken, gentle with other animals, and seems to get along with cats (even if they don’t like him). 😆

Blaze is affectionate, loyal, and an all around wonderful dog! 💚Like many smart and sensitive dogs, he can become overstimulated by lots of fast movement and loud play- specifically with younger children running, yelling, or playing with toys like balls, bats, or sticks. Because of this, Blaze would do best in a home without small children. A household with calm, respectful kids around 12+ could be a great fit.

In a peaceful home, Blaze truly shines. 🥹💚He would love a family who appreciates his gentle nature, gives him structure, and enjoys having a devoted companion by their side. 🐶🩵If you’re looking for a loving dog with a big heart and lots of potential, Blaze may be the perfect match for you 🥰

Link to adoption application will be in the comments, let’s help blaze find a new home!🥰🩵🐶
