⭐️K9 Jane⭐️

K9 Jane comes from championship c**n hunting lines. This girl is such a sweetheart and loves people so much! We can't imagine her doing anything other than working with people! Combine her love of people with that Coonhound drive and she is a force to be recon with! As a handler, this girl is absolutely addicting to work with!

🧡This right here is the heart of this team🧡

🔸️Sure, we are a K9 team, but first and foremost we are a family team. These guys aren't always at practice, but when they need to be they are absolute troopers! They may even beat the K9s for the title of cutest team members!

🔸️Now, I know for sure that we are all excited to get a lead in their little hands and teach them all of the K9 handling skills that we know! Tonight though, we are going to talk about the skills that truly matter.

🔸️As I said before we are a family team first and foremost. These little humans watch every single thing that we do. They see how we treat each other as well as how we treat the public. It is so very important as a team that we show them and everyone else we encounter what respect, compassion, humility, and kindness look like through our actions.

🔸️Public service is not about the glory or the equipment you have or the skills you possess. Its about making a difference and leaving a lasting impression on every single person you come in contact with both on and off duty. We are proud to have members that set that bar high and will accept nothing less!

🔸️We are on the edge of our seats waiting to see what kind of great things these kids will do with some guidance and good role models!

I'm not sure what Roxy's human Mom Ruth was praying for here, but I can only assume that Roxy has to be thinking "Please be steak, please be steak, please be steak" as her handler Rod makes dinner. In true bloodhound fashion this girl loves her food and loves to work even more!

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of K9 Willow after a lengthy illness.

K9 Willow served her community proudly for just over 10 years. She was one of the founding K9s of this team and she had an absolute passion for mantrailing. She was the sweetest hound you would ever meet and she was always ready to give anyone a big sloppy Bloodhound kiss with or without warning.

We sent her off in true mantrailing style by letting her run a few short trails with a small chocolate cake at the end for her final reward. She was eating chocolate cake under the shade of some trees and wagging her tail when she crossed that rainbow bridge. We are beyond grateful that we were able to send her off doing the thing that always made her the happiest!

Fly high pretty girl! We've got it from here!

🧡🧡Introducing K9 Felix!🧡🧡

We haven't talked much about Felix yet because he is still in training. He is learning a different discipline than all the other K9s and we are learning right along with him because he is our first K9 in this discipline.

Felix is an Air Scent K9. His job is to work with his handler to grid search a specific area and find any human in that area. When he finds a human his job is to sit and bark until his handler gets to him.

Felix is doing very well and is really starting to progress in his training so we figured it was time to shine the spotlight on him. Great job Felix!

This is what its all about and its wonderful to see this many agencies from all over Western Pennsylvania come together to achieve a common goal!

It takes every piece of the puzzle to make it all come together! Great job to every last person and team involved in bringing this man home safe!
