Little Beau is loving life on the farm and is bonding great with his duckies (although he might be using the ducks to get access to their pool 😆)

Thank you so much to his mom for the wonderful update and for all the love you've poored into him. Im so proud he is maturing into a sweet, handsome boy 🥰

Another special moment from our trip - building bonds between Croatia's and N. America's Tornjak clubs!

With the breed still very new to N. America, we rely heavily on our mentors within the countries of origin. Although I had met Marko before, it was an honor to shake his hand President to President. I always love talking Tornjaks, but conversations like these enforce that preserving a rare breed is an international effort. I hope that as our population grows, we continue to strengthen bonds with Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina to preserve our wonderful breed. ❤️🐾

A funny story from our trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina...

When I booked our B&B, I left a note saying we were visiting friends and to meet Tornjaks. The owner replied that he knew someone who owned a few Tornjaks and offered to introduce us.

Well, of course I said yes and his friend was kind enough to make time for the crazy Americans who traveled halfway around the world just to meet his dogs 😅

As it turns out... his female is Dagon's aunt! So, completely by accident, we ended up meeting Dagon's aunt and cousins! This community never ceases to amaze me ❤️

We had the honor of meeting Lom, Dagon's dad, while in Bosnia and Herzegovina! Just like his son, Lom's teddy bear expression shines in every photo. After a good, long pet session, we now understand where Dagon gets his calm, confident character from 😎
