Welp. Dagon did TOO well today. He literally did so good at jumping (with TWO personal bests) that he jumped himself out of the top spot for his bracket and into the very bottom of the next bracket - Boo!

Dagon jumped 15'5" and 15'2' and didnt place. Yet another dog with the his same average, jumped 15' and 15'2" and placed 2nd ... Darn bracket system🤦‍♀️... oh well. There are worse things than doing too good haha

We are still super proud of our boy for doing his personal best. TWICE. Fabulous job today buddy ❤️ 👏👏

As always the Tarheel Cluster dog shows did not disappoint! This time I showed a little less and volunteered a little more, which worked out great. It was a laid back weekend with a stellar show for baby Merlin. Thank you to Judge Karen C. Wilson for all your wonderful complements!

Saturday Sept 12th, the 2026 IDS Dock Diving championships will be broadcast LIVE from 10 different locations across the country.

Dagon earned his invite and will be jumping in the "Horizon" qualifying rounds on Saturday morning. Last year there were 1200 dogs participating! This will be the largest event we've ever competed in and are really excited to see how the big guy does!

Another special moment from our trip - building bonds between Croatia's and N. America's Tornjak clubs!

With the breed still very new to N. America, we rely heavily on our mentors within the countries of origin. Although I had met Marko before, it was an honor to shake his hand President to President. I always love talking Tornjaks, but conversations like these enforce that preserving a rare breed is an international effort. I hope that as our population grows, we continue to strengthen bonds with Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina to preserve our wonderful breed. ❤️🐾
