🐾 TRAVELING THROUGH LOUISIANA WITH YOUR FUR BABY? 🐾

If you’re ever passing through Louisiana and need a place for your four-legged family member to stay, we recommend checking out Paw Haven Grooming & Boarding Services! 🐶❤️

We know traveling with dogs can sometimes be a challenge, especially when you run into hotels that won’t accommodate your pet because of size, breed, number of dogs, or other restrictions. 🏨🐕

Having a reputable boarding and grooming service as an option can make traveling a whole lot easier and give you another option when your hotel plans don’t work out.

👉 Paw Haven offers grooming and boarding services, making them a business worth keeping in mind if you’re traveling through Louisiana with your fur baby.

Full disclosure: Our dogs have not personally stayed at Paw Haven, so this isn't us claiming a personal experience or review. We're simply sharing their services as a recommendation for our fellow dog owners who may find themselves needing boarding while traveling.

🐾 Do your own research, ask questions, and make sure their services are the right fit for your fur baby!

From one dog-loving family to another — sometimes having a good boarding option in your back pocket can make all the difference! ❤️🐶

🧼🐾 KENNEL CLEANING ISN’T OPTIONAL — IT’S PART OF RESPONSIBLE DOG CARE! 🐾🧼

At Durio’s Powerhouse Kennels, keeping our dogs’ environment clean, fresh, and sanitary is a priority every single day. 💪🐶

One of the products we keep in our cleaning routine is OdoBan Disinfectant. We use it to help clean and disinfect kennel surfaces, floors, crates, and other hard, non-porous areas around the kennel.

Between puppies, adult dogs, feeding areas, and all the everyday mess that comes with running a kennel, things can get dirty FAST! 😂💩

🧽 Our cleaning routine includes:
✅ Removing waste and debris
✅ Thoroughly cleaning surfaces
✅ Using OdoBan according to the product label
✅ Allowing surfaces to properly dry before dogs return
✅ Keeping bedding, bowls, crates, and runs clean
✅ Staying consistent with sanitation—not just cleaning when something looks dirty

A clean kennel isn't just about making things smell good. It's about creating a healthier, more comfortable environment for the dogs in our care. ❤️🐾

At DPK9, we believe that quality breeding and responsible dog ownership starts with the basics: clean facilities, proper nutrition, fresh water, exercise, socialization, and plenty of love.

💯 Clean Kennels. Healthy Dogs. Happy Dogs.

🐾 PUPPY CARE SPOTLIGHT — WHAT WE USE AT DURIO’S POWERHOUSE KENNELS 🐾

When it comes to raising healthy puppies, parasite control is an important part of our routine. One product we use at Durio’s Powerhouse Kennels is NEMEX®-2 (pyrantel pamoate).

🍼 WHY WE USE IT FOR OUR PUPPIES

Nemex-2 is a canine dewormer labeled for puppies and dogs. Its active ingredient, pyrantel pamoate, is specifically indicated for removing large roundworms and hookworms. These parasites are especially important to monitor in young puppies because puppies can become infected very early in life.

DailyMed +1

For our newborn-to-6-week-old puppies, proper parasite management helps us give these babies the best possible start while they're growing, nursing and developing.

⚠️ BUT HERE'S WHAT NEMEX-2 DOES NOT COVER

Nemex-2 is NOT a complete deworming program by itself. It does not cover every intestinal parasite or every type of parasite a puppy can encounter.

❌ Does not treat tapeworms
❌ Does not treat whipworms
❌ Does not prevent or treat heartworms
❌ Does not treat fleas or ticks
❌ Does not replace f***l testing or veterinary care

The product label specifically recommends confirming parasites with a laboratory f***l exam and consulting a veterinarian for diagnosis, treatment and parasite control.
DailyMed

💯 OUR GOAL AT DPK9

We don't believe in simply giving puppies medication and calling it good. We monitor our litters, keep them clean, watch their growth and development, and take parasite prevention seriously.

📢 PSA: Every puppy from our litters will receive a veterinary checkup at 6 weeks of age. Our vet will evaluate each puppy and help determine what additional care, testing, vaccinations and parasite control are appropriate moving forward.
Healthy puppies start with responsible care. 🐾❤️

*This post is for informational purposes and is not a substitute for veterinary advice. Medication and dosing should be determined according to the product label and your veterinarian's recommendations.*

🛁🐾 FIRST BATH DAY! — 15 DAYS OLD / 2 WEEKS OLD 🐾🛁

Today the Tank x Bella puppies got their very first bath! 🥰 They’re growing, moving around, and starting to show more of their little personalities every day!

⚠️ WHAT TO DO:
✅ Use lukewarm water
✅ Use a gentle, puppy-safe shampoo
✅ Keep the bath quick
✅ Support their body and head
✅ Dry them completely and keep them warm afterward

🚫 WHAT NOT TO DO:
❌ No cold or hot water

🐾❤️ BELLA IS LOOKING FOR HER FOREVER HOME! ❤️🐾

Our beautiful OG Queen Bella will soon be looking for a loving forever family. 🏡🐶

Bella is roughly 4 years old and is an American Pit Bull Terrier (APBT) from the Jacko / Redboy bloodline. She has been an amazing mother and is now ready to transition into the next chapter of her life as a beloved companion.

✨ About Bella:
🐾 Approximately 4 years old
🐾 American Pit Bull Terrier
🐾 Jacko / Redboy bloodline
🐾 House broke
🐾 Kennel broke
🐾 Good with other dogs
🐾 Good with cats
🐾 Good with people
🐾 Knows multiple commands
🐾 UTD on shots & vaccines
🐾 Sweet, well-mannered, and accustomed to being around people

Bella will not be ready to leave immediately. She is currently raising her litter and will remain with her puppies until she is finished weaning them. She is expected to be ready for her forever home in approximately 6 weeks. ❤️

We want to find Bella a FOREVER home where she can be loved, spoiled, and treated like family. This is not about simply finding her somewhere to go — it's about finding the right home for Bella. 🏡❤️

📩 MESSAGE US FOR MORE INFORMATION about Bella, her background, and what we're looking for in her forever home.

Serious inquiries only.

But we’re keeping the BREED, COLOR, BLOODLINE, AND PICTURES under wraps for now. 🤫🔒

📦😂 ANOTHER PACKAGE IN!

If it’s not Tractor Supply Co. , it’s Chewy! At this point, I think SPORTMiX Pet Food needs to go ahead and make me a dealer or just sponsor DPK9 already! 😂🤣

150 LBS OF SPORTMiX IN THE HOUSE! 💪🐶

And yes… that should last us about 2–3 weeks! 😂 These dogs definitely know how to eat!

But seriously, there’s a reason we choose SPORTMiX High Protein for our dogs. 💯

🐾 27% protein to help support strong, active dogs
💪 12% fat and 329 calories per cup to provide energy for highly active dogs
🦴 Complete and balanced nutrition formulated for adult maintenance
🥩 Meat meal provides a concentrated source of protein and essential nutrients
💊 Fortified with essential vitamins and minerals
🇺🇸 Made in the USA

For us, feeding our dogs isn't just about filling a bowl — it's about giving them quality nutrition to help keep them healthy, active, strong and in proper condition. We pair good nutrition with proper exercise, care and regular veterinary attention.

So SPORTMiX… 👀😂

Y'ALL SEE HOW MUCH WE'RE BUYING!

At this point, just send the sponsorship paperwork! 🤣🤣
