When you work with dogs the way I do, it’s not just sitting around taking pictures. 🐕🔥 It takes energy, stamina, focus, and dedication to keep up with these dogs, the kennel, training, cleaning, feeding, handling, and everything else that comes with building this program from the ground up.

It honestly feels good to have kennels from all across the United States reaching out and telling me that what we're building at Durio's Powerhouse Kennels is something special. Hearing people say they don't see this kind of dedication, transparency, and effort very often means more than they'll ever know.

Building a kennel isn't just about producing dogs. It's about building relationships, engaging with supporters, networking with other kennels and businesses, and creating a brand people can believe in.

To everyone who's followed the journey, shared a post, bought a shirt, sent words of encouragement, or simply believed in what we're doing—thank you. Knowing our hard work isn't going unnoticed truly warms my heart.

Today my kids and my little cousin start another chapter as they head back to school and into new grades. Time sure flies, and I'm so proud of each one of y'all. Work hard, stay focused, be kind to others, and never stop believing in yourselves.

The Man’s Ego in the World of Dogs

The dogs never asked for fame. They never cared about trophies, titles, or applause. They only asked for purpose, guidance, and loyalty.

Yet somewhere along the way, too many men forgot that.

The dog world can be a wonderful place, built on friendships, shared knowledge, and a love of remarkable animals. But it can also become a stage where egos compete louder than the dogs themselves.

A ribbon doesn’t make a great breeder. A social media following doesn’t make a great dogman. Owning an expensive bloodline doesn’t create wisdom.

Time does.

Experience does.

Honesty does.

The best dogmen I’ve met rarely needed to tell you how good they were. Their dogs spoke quietly on their behalf. Their kennels reflected decades of careful decisions, hard lessons, and humility.

Ego breeds excuses.

Humility breeds improvement.

The moment a man believes he has nothing left to learn is the moment he stops becoming better for his dogs.

Dogs don’t care about our reputations. They don’t read our advertisements or count our followers. They judge us by something much simpler.

Did we feed them?

Did we protect them?

Did we understand them?

Did we earn their trust?

In the end, our legacy won’t be written by our own words. It will be written in the quality of the dogs we leave behind, the knowledge we pass on, and the respect we show to others who share the same path.

Waiting on paperwork to come in, and once it does, we'll adding more registered dogs to the program. We're building this kennel the right way—one step at a time.

We guarantee every dog and every puppy we produce will be backed by legitimate registration paperwork. Transparency and doing things the right way will always be part of our program.
