Amy's Acres is an IRS Recognized 501(c)3 located in Charles City County, Virginia. Amy’s Acres’ current residents are made up of a variety of fun farm rescue animals. Our mission here is to help provide a stable, safe sanctuary, foster and deeply caring environment that provides rehabilitation through love and patience, medical care and all necessities needed for pet pigs and other farm animals t

hat find themselves in need, due to exploitation, abuse, abandonment and many other of life's sad misfortunes. While Amy’s Acres main focus is on sweet piggies, we also help others in need as we can. We are not here to collect animals, we are here to save and make a difference (one animal at a time) to the animal that needs a new beginning and brand new lease on life.

Hey friends, real talk from Amy’s Acres 💙

There’s no emergency today. No dramatic rescue video. No heartbreaking before/after.

And that’s exactly why I’m posting.

Rescue isn’t just the big moments. It’s the daily grind that keeps very many animals safe, fed, and healthy. I spend $400 a week on feed before we even talk about hay for Meadow, medications, hoof trims, or the $500 vet bill I just opened for Lil Blaze from last week. 😬

Day-to-day necessities don’t stop. Bags of feed, bales of hay, and vet care happen whether there’s an emergency or not. And right now, I could really use help covering them.

I don’t ask unless I have to. But I can’t keep saying yes to the next animal in need if I can’t keep the lights on for the ones already here.

If you’re able to help keep the barn running, here’s what your gift does:
$12 = a bale of hay for Meadow
$30 = a bag of feed for the herd
$50 = a chunk off Lil Blaze’s vet bill
Any amount = helps cover that $400 weekly feed bill!

Good Moo’rning, friends! ☀️

Meadow wanted to be the first to wish you a beautiful day.

She woke up safe, dry, and with a full belly of hay this morning. That’s what rescue looks like. It’s quiet mornings, fuzzy faces at the gate, and knowing every animal here is loved.

The truth is, keeping this girl and her 50+barn buddies fed and cared for takes a village. Hay, feed, and vet care add up fast. If you’d like to help Meadow start every morning like this, we’d be so grateful. We really could use your help.
