Amy's Acres is an IRS Recognized 501(c)3 located in Charles City County, Virginia. Amy’s Acres’ current residents are made up of a variety of fun farm rescue animals. Our mission here is to help provide a stable, safe sanctuary, foster and deeply caring environment that provides rehabilitation through love and patience, medical care and all necessities needed for pet pigs and other farm animals that find themselves in need, due to exploitation, abuse, abandonment and many other of life's sad misfortunes. While Amy’s Acres main focus is on sweet piggies, we also help others in need as we can. We are not here to collect animals, we are here to save and make a difference (one animal at a time) to the animal that needs a new beginning and brand new lease on life.

Good morning from the whole gang!

Wilbur: *giving Uber piggy back rides all morning* "Who needs a ride?" Looks like he may be working overtime today. 😂

King Wilbur has his work cut out for him today as the official sanctuary chauffeur 😂. He may be King but the cats apparently are the boss.

EMERGENCY PEDI APPOINTMENT 😂💅🐷

Well... I may have *totally* forgot that the Ferrier is coming TOMORROW 😅(oops I was wrong, it’s SUNDAY!) 😂

And these fancy pigs have opinions about their feet:

SKOOTSY: *shows you her little deformed feet* "Mine are a mess. Fix me."
KING WILBUR: "My royal hooves require maintenance immediately"
BAM BAM: "I heard pedicure. I’m in."
PAISLEY: *maybe* "Do we have to?"

We’ll probably find a few more that need trims once we start looking around 😂

Foot care is a HUGE part of keeping our sanctuary pigs healthy and comfy. It’s not cheap, but it’s SO important.
