"HI Mike,
It's been a fantastic year!! We adopted SADIE in June of 2025 and are so happy that you introduced to us to her!! She is just the most lovable little Sadie Boo! She still has a little bit of timidness, but to watch her come out of her shell has been so amazing. SADIE is so eager to please and learns very quickly. Barrett and she love to play together. SADIE has been such a wonderful addition to our family and we are very grateful to CAAR for keeping her safe while she awaited our arrival."

"SASHA has been doing great. Now she’s entering her more Malli, phase of biting and having the midnight zoomies. And overall she has been quite the character!! She has so much personality, and she follows me around like my mini shadow. My morning routine starts with kisses and love bites. She’s now entering her big teething age, so she learned that fling her Kong tug-of- war like a whip to hit people.

From a beaten up, but loving dad."

We all know that Mike has a soft spot for Malinois and German shepherds. It takes a special person to tackle puppyhood with Mals. Thank you for giving Sasha the freedom to grow into a superb companion.

Just wanted to shoot you some pictures of FOXY. He’s settling in really well! He only marked in the house a couple of times, and has a respectful fear of the cats, who are accepting of him. Maybe he has past cat trauma, because we have to carry him up and down the stairs if they’re blocking him. He’s great about being active outside with us, and also great about being a cuddle bug inside. He sleeps so hard during the night, we can carry him around and he stays limp for a while. Most of all, FOXY entertains my first dog enough to where she isn’t chewing up random things anymore. He hasn’t shown interest in destroying anything so far, just carries socks and toys around, shreds his collagen roll and gently chews on my hand when he’s happy.

Forever grateful he ended up with us!! He also has this cute habit of heeling between my husband’s legs shepherd style when Foxy knows he’s leaving for work. I think you are right about him having a little herding breed because of that, and sometimes he herds my son when they’re running. My dog puts him on the ground when he gets to be too much towards anyone.

This great news about FOXY. He is a love bug. At the rescue we were working with him on marking his territory. Glad to hear he is learning his inside manners. One of our adoption event faves. Thank you for giving him a wonderful home.
