It happened today!! I hosted a trail ride from my Bad Ass Acres. I am so blessed and am pleased to share this amazing property with friends. My lil heart is overflowing with joy. Thank you Sandra Cole, Jill Bertschy, Jerry Scoggins, Lanita Ann Cooper, Ray Cooper, and Hunter. Y’all helped me check off another bucket list! We rode 9.5 miles with big big smiles. 😃
Today was Riata’s first real trail ride with a group. Ziva stayed home (boy was she mad) and Riata was the only dog with 7 horses and riders. She far exceeded all expectations I had for her. Riata has passed the trail dog test. 🐕

JUST SELL IT

We’ve ALL been there.

The day nothing goes right. 🚫
You can’t get the trailer hooked up.
You can’t line the ball up.
Your horse suddenly forgot how to load.
Your other horse is sore.
You’re running late.
You’re convinced you’re going to get turned out at the barrel race, roping, or whatever event you’re headed to.

And then you think…
“I’m done. I’m selling EVERYTHING.” 😂Girl. Go have your moment.
Cry.
Cuss a little.
Sit in the truck.
☕️ Drink your coffee.
Take a breath.

Then pull yourself together and keep going.
Because sometimes when you have THAT much emotion over something, it’s not because you don’t care.

🙌 It’s because you care like hell.
That passion is a good thing.
Just don’t let one terrible Day convince you that your entire dream is a terrible idea.
Slow down.
Breathe.

Fix the problem in front of you—not every problem you might have tomorrow.

And remember…
The only person putting pressure on you to make everything happen perfectly is YOU.
The horse doesn’t know you’re late.
The trailer doesn’t care what time you said you’d leave.

And nobody at the barrel race is thinking about your day nearly as much as you are.
So quit beating yourself up.
Take a breath, cowgirl.
You’ve got this. 🤎

And if today ends with you sitting in the truck crying while questioning every life decision you’ve ever made…
