This keeps me going.

For everyone who is missing a piece of their heart today. 🌈🕊️

The hardest part of loving a pet is the price we pay at the end. The grief can feel like a physical weight. We worry if they were scared, if they knew how much we loved them, if they are okay now.

The legend of the Rainbow Bridge exists for a reason. It reminds us that while their bodies may fail, love is energy—and energy cannot be destroyed.

They aren't gone; they have just gone ahead.

They are running on strong legs again. They are napping in the warmest sunbeams. And most importantly, they aren't lonely. They are just waiting for the day you come walking across the grass to scoop them up one last time.

Until then, look for them in the butterflies and the sudden patches of sunlight. They are still with you.
