It has been brought to my attention that I should formally introduce myself! My name is Kyerra Walker and I am the proud owner of T & Boo Kennel Walker’s GSPs. I am an experienced dog trainer and breeder. Known for mainly upland bird dog training, but also basic obedience, and service/ therapy work. I am also a breeder of German Shorthaired Pointers! I am a proud mama of eight excellent and athletic fur babies. All but one of which being German Shorthaired Pointers. While most importantly being a very blessed mama to an amazing little boy, and have a wonderful little girl that is on the way!
I have been surrounded by GSPs my entire life. My first photo with a GSP was me in the womb, with my four legged childhood best friend that was only two weeks old, while he laid on my moms belly. Growing up through the years I grew addicted to the breed and dogs in general. From a young age I watched my grandfather train GSPs to not only be amazing family members, but also top tier athletes in the field. I also admired how him and my grandmother raised these wonderful dogs from the time of birth, until the time came that they were ready to go home. It was over the years that it became quite clear that this was exactly what I wanted to do with my life. I dedicated myself to learning about puppy culture, dog mentality, physiology, and balanced training techniques. Flash forward to now, I have proudly trained hundreds of dogs, and have produced litters that not only I am proud to call my own, but also feel as though they have contributed to bettering what is already an amazing breed of dogs. I am so fortunate to be able to do this for a living while also raising and growing my family. I give all of the props for this opportunity to my high school sweetheart who has always been my number one fan, dedicated supporter, and my rock for the last decade. Without him this would not be possible.
I can only hope and pray that I am able to produce premier GSPs, and train dogs of all breeds for the rest of my life! My dogs have helped give me so many incredible opportunities and I return the favor with endless love and dedication to them. I am so fortunate to have this magnificent pack of dogs by mine and my families side. I would not trade this life for any other! Thank you for taking the time to read this and for all the support we are given by our puppy and training dog families!! I truly hope this gave you a glimps of who I am, and why I do what I do! 🐾
