George is home safe! George was lost when his owners evacuated the Aspen Acres Fire and went to a camp ground at Lake Pueblo State Park. He got out of there camper and disappeared. George had been missing for 6 days with no sightings when we got the call to join the search. Quasar quickly picked up the trail at their camping site and tracked George to rangers station. Based on Quasar’s behavior we determined this was a place that George was spending time at. We set up cameras and a live trap in that area Quasar had indicated and a few days later he was recovered under a shed at the very same rangers station.
