There’s a WHOLE bunch of wonderful animals, fully vetted, waiting to meet you in the NK AP Shelter. 😍

😢😢 Hank, Australian Cattle Dog, who was adopted with his brother and returned, needs a child free home. He heards and can be nippy. He’s SO SAD back in the shelter. All he does is hug you, kiss you, and cling to your body when he has visitors. It’s heartbreaking. 💔

🥰 Chunk is STILL waiting, in spite of being crowned, Best In Show, at Jolene Family winery’s dog show. Here he is shown playing with his toy trophy. He’s amazing and loves life and all toys!

🧸 A puppy, just 5 months old, mix breed, named Flanagan, has so much energy, he’s just bursting with excitement at the thought of a real home!

🐾 Farmer’s Tan, a blue eyed, Siamese mix, semi-feral cat, has been acting so brave and coming out of his safe spot to explore the other parts of his cage. We believe, with the right, patient, new owner, he could turn into a pet.

🦴 Clyde, a gorgeous, blue pit bull, he’s lovey dovey and just perfect in every pit bull way!

🐶 Artie, a shy hound mix, he’s so young, only about 1-1.5 years old, he needs a chance at a good future.

💕Willow, another hound mix, she definitely had a home prior to coming to the shelter and she will fit right in to yours, she just needs a chance!

👵 Annie, a brindle senior hound, is the absolute sweetest girl. She still has lots of energy and would love a chance to show you how loving she is.

👴 Sugar Foot is a really cool, senior, tabby and white, cat who’s thriving, gaining weight, and being treated for a thyroid issue.

🐈‍⬛ And Evan, a front declawed, senior cat, has been waiting for so long to meet his new perfect family. He’s successfully being treated for a thyroid condition that is under control with an inexpensive medication. He’s amazingly gone from only 5 pounds to 9 pounds with care and proper treatment.

🥰🥰 The most adorable Darla(blk/white) and Chunk(white/brindle) are still waiting for their fur-ever homes.

These are their cute pictures from the adoption event a few weeks ago. They’re both fully vetted and good with other dogs, Darla is a bit shy with people at first, but she comes alive in the company of other dogs.

✨✨ Help: Cat Meds pick up / delivery needed!

🐾 We are looking for someone to help who is in Williamsburg or nearby today, to pick up Evan’s prescription thyroid medication at a vet’s office near Rt 5, and drop it off at the shelter later today. Meds will be ready after 3 pm and the vets open til 6pm, message us for details and if you can help.

And, no, haha, there will not actually be a cat inside the pill bottle! 🐈😂

Okay, I butchered 3 blind mice, but these guys are cute, right?
Meet Artsy, Sugar, and Evan!

Artsy, tabby, is a loner and would like to be the apple of your eye. She needs a dental cleaning and extractions, about $700, which we would love to pay for to help place her.

Sugar, is a tall neutered tabby & white male who has a chill, but loving personality. He’s on thyroid meds, which we would love to keep supporting him on, if he’s adopted thru us.

Evan is an absolute lovey-dovey, doll baby, solid gray, front declawed, also on thyroid meds, believe it or not, we found out he was formerly an outdoor cat, 🤯 but he’s doing just fine using his litter box in the cage at the NK shelter.

🐈 Any of these 3 senior cats would be purr-fect for our brand new, Seniors Fur Seniors Program, which supports local senior citizens who are open to adopting senior pets for companionship.

$25 adoption fee, and most adoptions are already sponsored, so most have zero fee.

The first Siamese mix cat, is a male we are taking to get neutered tomorrow. He is not outwardly friendly, but he has a lot of potential to come around and be social with humans. He will most likely need a working cat home / situation.

💕💕 Posting for Nova:

Nova needs a new home due to his incompatibility with the cats in his current home. It is urgent at this point to place him in a well matched home, so even if you are able to foster him, it would help his family so much.

They know all about Nova and will share everything with you. They really want the absolute best for him. He started out in foster care with this family, they fell in love with his darling personality and adopted, but after a few more months, he felt so comfortable that his prey drive emerged and it’s now difficult to keep the cats safe.

He is fully vetted and microchipped. He is kind, gentle and loving to all children and adults. Nova has some resource guarding issues with animals and he cannot live with cats or small animals.

He is high energy but knows how to relax with you and just enjoy the quiet. He enjoys sleeping in the bedroom with one of the children. He enjoys walks, runs, and mud, like most young dogs. 😂 He absolutely loves food and will eat almost anything.
