Puppyhood is not the time to “wait and see”—it’s the time to take action.

The behaviors you allow, ignore, or accidentally reinforce today are the habits your puppy will carry into adulthood. Being proactive means guiding your puppy before problems develop, not after they’ve become routine.

Confidence, neutrality, and obedience aren’t things that just happen—they’re built through intentional, consistent training.
A well-trained dog isn’t luck. It’s the result of proactive choices made from day one.

Start early. Stay consistent. Set your puppy up for success!

She is about 1.5 years old. She is male dog friendly and will do best with a handler that has experience with high drive dogs. Definitely has sport potential.

Training a puppy with down-stays, the "place" command, and tethering boosts impulse control, calmness, and safety. Each tool has a specific purpose—ranging from formal obedience to management—but all teach puppies to regulate emotions and behave calmly in a household.

Benefits of the Down-Stay: It’s a key skill that builds a stable temperament. Lying down is calming and helps puppies focus, acting as a relaxation technique. It offers an alternative to unwanted behaviors like jumping or begging and builds trust and safety in busy or traffic environments.

Benefits of the "Place" Command: It directs puppies to a specific boundary (like a mat or bed) until released. Using an elevated surface gives clear cues, reducing anxiety and providing a safe retreat. The command can be generalized to various locations.

Benefits of Tethering: Tethering involves attaching a puppy to a fixed point or handler's belt with a short leash. It helps manage common issues like potty accidents and inappropriate behaviors. Unlike crating, tethering allows puppies to be part of activities, teaching calm coexistence. It also boosts confidence, especially for insecure dogs, and aids housebreaking by timing restlessness.

Do you SHOCK dogs!? Or are we just training a dog to learn communication by understanding pressure and how to shut it off?

Dogs need clarity, not emotional confusion. That's why pressure-on/pressure-off is one of the best ways to consistently build a communication line with your dog. Teaching your dog that they are in control of the pressure and the release.

Pressure = having a conversation and learning to improve

Release = reward

Join us to learn how to communicate with your dog and gain access to knowledge that builds a strong relationship, trust, and confidence between you and your dog.
