Brûlée had an exciting opportunity to be a model for an upcoming Target product. She did fantastic at the studio even with all the flashing lights and loud noises.

Shelties don’t shed all the time. But once a year (twice for intact females) they “blow their coat”. When this happens they need a lot of brushing to remove the loose undercoat.

Another options is to use a high velocity dryer to blow it out… buf that can be messy even outdoors.

Sometimes I get enough I consider knitting them a sweater out of it 🤣.

This is the Sunny in “Sunny” Shelties.

2001-2012, Sunny wasn’t my family’s first Sheltie. But she was my heart dog. Sunny was our pick of the litter out of our stud dog, Pony, and she was a sweet, gentle and most loyal soul. She followed me everywhere and always tried her hardest to please.

Sunny loved everyone. She was highly intelligent and a multiple state champion 4H dog in obedience and many time county champion in agility, obedience, rally and showmanship.

While none of my current dogs are related to her, she is the spirit behind my breeding program because every family deserves a dog like Sunny.

Another day, another title. Brûlée earned her CA (Coursing Ability) title today by finishing her 3rd qualifying run in AKC CAT.

This girl excels at everything we try. She is 18 months old.
