Although I would absolutely love to have Biyon come on vacation with me because it would make me so happy, I always put his needs first. As much as I enjoy having his by my side,

I know that traveling, unfamiliar environments, long car rides, crowded places, and changes in routine can sometimes be stressful for dogs.

As a dog mom, my responsibility is to make decisions based on what is best for his, not what makes me happiest.

If staying in a familiar, comfortable environment where he feels safe and relaxed is what will make his happiest, then that’s the choice I will make every time. His comfort, well-being, and peace of mind will always come before my own wishes.

True love means putting your pet’s needs first, and that’s exactly what Biyon’s deserves. ❤️🐾

Please share this message with fellow pet parents and help keep our beloved pets safe this summer. ❤️🐶🐱

With the current hot weather conditions, pet owners should take extra precautions to keep their dogs safe and comfortable. Dogs are much more vulnerable to heat than humans because they primarily cool themselves through panting and have very limited sweat glands.

Signs of Heat Stress and Heatstroke

Watch for the following warning signs:

* Excessive panting
* Drooling more than usual
* Bright red or pale gums
* Lethargy or weakness
* Vomiting or diarrhea
* Difficulty walking or collapsing
* Seizures or loss of consciousness

Heatstroke is a medical emergency and can be life-threatening if not treated immediately.

What to Do if You Suspect Heatstroke

1. Move the dog to a cool, shaded area immediately.
2. Offer small amounts of cool (not ice-cold) water.
3. Wet the dog’s body with cool water, focusing on the paws, belly, and neck.
4. Use fans if available.
5. Contact a veterinarian immediately, even if the dog appears to improve.

A simple rule to remember: If you’re feeling uncomfortable in the heat, your dog is likely feeling it even more. Taking preventive measures can help ensure your pet stays safe, healthy, and happy throughout the summer months. 🐾☀️
