I also want to say thank you to those we had to adjust their appointment times this week Nikki was sick Sunday/Monday and now I am sick with the stomach virus please be patient with me and I will get back to everybody as soon as possible about rescheduling their appointment

It’s honestly hard to believe that this little dream will officially be ONE next week! From the very first pup to every appointment, treat, freshie, laugh, muddy paw & happy tail along the way… this year has been one heck of a ride.

And the best part? YOU have been a part of it. 🐾

🎨🐾 Okay… I’ve been keeping this one on my mind for a while! 👀

I’ve been itching to get into creative grooming, and with the Nanih Waiya Fall Festival costume contest coming up, I figured… why not start now?! 🎃✨

So I’m looking for a few creative grooming models who want to help me have some fun with color, patterns, Halloween themes, and some seriously cute looks! 🌈🐶🐱🐰

And before anyone gets nervous about the word color — I want to make sure you know exactly what I’m talking about. ❤️

✨ These are professional, pet-safe products specifically formulated for animals.
✨ They are semi-permanent, NOT a temporary spray or chalk that washes off after one bath.
✨ The color gradually fades over time.
✨ Some creative designs may take more than one grooming appointment, which is why we’re starting early!

My goal is to create some fun, unique looks while keeping your pet’s comfort and safety FIRST. 🐾

And who knows… your pet might just end up stealing the show at the Fall Festival! 👀🏆🎃

We’re getting ready for the Nanih Waiya Fall Festival on Saturday, October 17th, 2026! 🎃🍁

Bring your pets dressed to impress and enter for a chance to win in these fun categories:

💕 Best Couple/Group Costumes

🐾Funniest Costume
And the best part? You DON’T have to stay all day! 🙌

Just bring your costumed pet by Toot & Puddles to check in. Judging will take place throughout the festival, so you can enter your pet, enjoy the festival, shop around, and head out whenever you’re ready!

🐾 All pets are welcome to participate! Dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, reptiles, birds, and other small pets — if they can safely participate in a costume, we want to see them! ❤️

🦴 We’ll also have treats available for purchase and Pup Cake preorders will be available for your favorite four-legged festival-goer! 🧁🐾

⚠️ Pet Safety: All pets must be kept on a leash or safely secured at all times while attending the festival.

🐾 School is back, and we’re settling into a new routine! 🐾💕

I know the beginning of a new school year can be a little hectic for everyone, so if your family has been busy getting back into the swing of things, we totally understand! 🚌📚

Now that things are starting to settle down, it’s a great time to get your pup back on their regular grooming schedule. ✂️🐶

We have openings Tuesday–Saturday this week, and we’d love to fill them with some of our Toot & Puddles family — and maybe meet a few new faces too! 🥰

Did you know dogs don’t sweat all over like we do? 🤯

Instead, they have sweat glands in their paw pads! 🐾 While those tiny paw pads help release a little heat, panting is still a dog’s main way of cooling down.

So if you catch your pup leaving tiny damp paw prints on a hot day, now you know why! 💙
