Last week we got a call that stuck with us. A hospitalized Veteran in Cottonwood (he asked to stay unnamed) had his dog, Piper, at the Humane Society — but with the recent rains pushing the shelter over capacity, he needed help getting her out. We picked Piper up, brought her home, and have been caring for her ever since.
Today, he's being discharged. And today, Piper finally gets to see her person again. 🐾
