I only made it through part of the list. Some “dex” is on the list. If you have a horse with heaves getting dexamethazone, you may want to check your bottle.

Poppy update! Poppy came as an owner surrender in August 2022. When she arrived she was thin and her feet were in terrible condition. She was given time, vet and farrier care, and nutrition. After some trail riding time, Poppy is still doing wonderfully. She has now retired and is loving now being a pasture pet.

Horses wear their love and Poppy is wrapped in it. ❤️

I posting her now photo first. I have also included what she looked like when she arrived. She is a tattooed OTTB.

Simon has been challenging to consistently get loaded in the trailer. On Tuesday, we loaded and went to the neighbors (trainer). I figured if he didn’t get back in the trailer I could walk him home. Short ride under saddle, keeping expectations consistent. He loaded back up and we went home. He was cool as a cucumber the entire time. So proud of him! ❤️ Horsemanship Unlocked

How Simon has been starting his days. More time has been spent on getting a horse into a trailer than should be expected. Finally getting there! I still hold my breath each time.

Simon can be a bit reactive to some pressure but he’s getting over it. Maturity and good training are helping a lot.

Short ride today but very worth it! ❤️ It’s the first time for Uno and Simon to go on a ride together. Simon wanted to lead and Uno kept the corn in sight.
