Today has been a day of both joy and heartbreak.

After a veterinary evaluation, we learned that one of Honey’s puppies was born with a severe cleft palate. After discussing the prognosis with our veterinarian, the most compassionate decision was to let the puppy go peacefully. While we’re saddened by this loss, we’re grateful we were able to prevent any further suffering.

The good news is that Honey is doing an amazing job, and the rest of the puppies are healthy, nursing well, and continuing to gain weight.

Thank you to everyone who has been following Honey’s journey! We appreciate all of the love and support as we continue caring for this sweet litter. 💛🐾

✨ They’re Here! ✨

After several hours (and lots of anticipation), we’re so excited to announce that Honey has officially welcomed ten beautiful babies into the world🐾💛

Mama and babies are doing great!

Over the next few days we’ll be monitoring each puppy closely, giving them plenty of time to grow, nurse, and bond with Mom. We’ll also be reaching out to families on our puppy application list once the puppies have been examined and we’ve had a chance to evaluate everyone.

Our vet’s official count is at least 8 puppies, with a possibility of 10! 🤍🐶

Honey is doing great! She came straight home and is now resting over top of her favorite house vent.

Expected delivery is only a couple days away (or maybe even sooner 😬😬)
